  • "Visiting NYC for the weekend. Made reservations for Sunday brunch based on a recommendation from a local friend. Was not disappointed. The coffees were elegantly served, Mimosa was excellent. Eggs Benedict was close to the best I've ever had. The server was friendly and gladly accommodated us with Gluten free bread. The decor was modern and cute, only comment would be the not so comfortable couch seats. We actually asked to switch tables and were easily accommodated. I would happily recommend and return."

  • "Some of the chairs are fancy designer's stuff. Obviously the designer did not seat for one hour on them, or he or she would have realized how bad the chairs are... Food is really excellent, service is top notch, italian wines for a reasonable price, great ambiance and low noise which is a very precious thing in NYC these days. Change the chairs and you get a 5 stars !!!"

  • "The new sant ambroeus in Soho is fantastic. The atmosphere is warm and welcome. It is the neighborhood gem --great food, hang out vibe....I feel like I am in Italy. So glad it came to the neighborhood."

  • "Sant Ambroeus is one of my favorite restaurantes, I'been in all of them, this was muy first time in Soho fro dinner. I don't think this one follows the same aesthetes of the other ones, too dark and too noisy, seats are not very comfortable. The food is excellent"

  • "What a gem in the neighborhood; we had such an amazing lunch - Lentil and Quinoa Salads are fantastic and so is hamachi apetizer. Sant Ambroeus gelato is a must after any meal any time of the day."

  • "My girlfriend and I go to Sant Ambroeus Soho for brunch every sunday. They have the BEST eggs benedict in the city!! We pair this with the pancakes and we're never disappointed."

  • "Great food, gorgeous interior, & possibly the best waitress in nadiia that we've had in YEARS. I had the branzino: excellent, if a bit on the smallish side. Starter was a fantastic grilled zuchinni & mozzarella crostini. nice to taste a change from the typical tomato & mozz combo. Sides: Brussels sprouts & pancetta (tasty!) and the roasted cauliflower w/ mustard (good, but a bit over-sour). My fiancée had the pappardelle special w/ ceci beans & english peas in a white sauce...exceptional. Drinks: a tasty glass of rose for her. Don Julio chilled, with fresh lime and a peroni on the side for me. Dessert: some of the best tiramisu I've ever had & a decadent chocolate cake. Nadiia our server was fantastic. Will definitely be back!"

  • "I was in NYC with my three good friends celebrating our 40th birthdays - I called the restaurant two days prior letting them know we were celebrating and asked for a corner table - when we arrived, they put us in between the two only other groups in the restaurant - I told them we had called and requests a corner table, they said they could not accommodate - I also told them we were celebrating (again). The meal was OK and the service was random. At the end of the meal, we ordered desserts, not only did they not do ANYTHING special, they just ignored us after dropping them off and then just brought the check. My advice, with the amount of amazing places in NYC....Don't bother!"

  • "I often went to go to the UES Sant Ambroeus when I lived in NY, so we decided to try this one. They are known for their very good Italian kitchen, but I had never tried the gluten free pasta before, which I was really impressed with - it was even al dente. It was a weeknight, but the (hugely famous artist) JR sat at the table next to us, and across the way were Olivia Palermo and Johannes, so I guess that says everything about this being a hotspot, understated as it is. The waiter accidentally bumped our table and caused a crash of water glasses (no one was hurt), so the kitchen sent us a huge plate of tarts and other sweeties on the house. Overall it was great...maître d and staff were all so friendly. Perfect NY evening."

  • "I was a bit disappointed in the Soho location. It was less friendly than the location in the West Village. With a dining room open of seats, and I had a reservation, I was seated in the bar area at a table near the bathroom - not ideal when I had called ahead to share I would be there for a business meeting. The service was Ok but nothing special and overall the experience was completely bland. "

  • "Any of the locations is like coming Home! Food, Service and Ambience is always great... It's truly like a little slice of Italy!"

  • "Something here doesn't work. The music is too loud, the bar not inviting, the tables spaced poorly. It lacks the charm of Sant Ambroeus on W4th St."

  • "Absolutely delicious, convivial atmosphere, a very chic crowd, the entire team at Sant Ambroeus Soho, as with all SA restaurants, makes you feel very well taken care of. Highly recommend!"

  • "Have always loved eating at other locations (UES and West Village) and had a great dinner this weekend at new location. Food (Short ribs and Bolognese pasta) was delicious and service was very attentive."

  • "We love the new S.A. Bigger than the West Village, but the same food quality. I had their famous centocolori salad and was as tasty as it is in the other branches, the salmon was great and my husband enjoyed his veal. The fact that they make their soups with only vegetable stock is great and vegetarian friendly. The staff is the best, specially Julia...she is the most professional manager we've ever met...always attentive and checking out that every single table got great service. This is the best restaurant in Soho."

  • "For the great food and the bill. (Both were memorable). Special occasions justify Sant Ambroeus Soho's pricey morsels and a romantic outing on St. Valentine's Day hit the mark!"

  • "A small-ish beautiful room. Very Italian. Just a great environment. The food is great of course. High-end Italian. Go!"

  • "At last a local gem in NoHo. The menu is brilliantly edited. Best quality produce, and great wines. The room is excellent, seating super comfortable but the biggest success is the team headed by one of the best front of house managers I've encountered in a long time. I wish them well for the future."

  • "The food was essentially tasteless. The version of the traditional italian 'carbonara' pasta had ingredients that did not mix together well, and the 'Cacio e pepe' had no flavor at all. The antipasto of pulp and potatoes was totally dry, with nothing bringing the two components together. Cocktails were a disappointment as well. The atmosphere was lively and service fair, but overall not a restaurant I would commend. A notch below Sant Ambroeus in the Village."

  • "I am always big fan of Sant-Ambroeus restaurant group, so happy that they finally come to my neighborhood . Very cozy warm restaurant , food is very good as always. I found it little more hip compare the other locations. If you are in Soho walking or shopping definitely must stop by for a panini!"
