Continental dining. The space was a little tight on a Friday night. It seems to attract an older croud. We were the youngest there by a generation. The chef came out and made rounds...a nice touch. The food was good. I had the special rib eye. I usu only eat stake at steakhouses but it was quite good. Wife had lamb slightly under cooked for her liking. Staff was good. I would go again.

Sansone's can be counted on to provide excellent food on both its regular menu and nightly specials. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional, and it's one of those rare restaurants where you can actually hear your table mates converse! Definitely a favorite!

We visited the restaurant on our anniversary and decided to take our 4 year old as the chef/owner had told us on our last visit that kids were welcome. The service and food were wonderful. The waitress took the time to listen to my 4 year old tell her about her birthday party, which was really sweet. It's a true find and we will definitely be back.

We had concert tickets at Fiddlers and wanted to find something lower cost in the general area. Living up at the north end of town, neither of us were familiar with what was available in the area. This was a pleasant surprise. The food was good, the value was good and so was the service. I'd return!

We went here for restaurant week and the reviews online were great so I was expecting something amazing but it was just okay. The location was in a strip mall, the restaurant itself was very small and the server we had seemed overwhelmed by the 4 tables he had. We waited 10 minutes for him to take our order (which by then we were ready to order food too) then we waited at least 15 minutes for our drinks. Our appetizers actually came before our drinks! The food was good - but nothing fabulous. The clientele was mostly senior citizens. Considering the normal menu prices we likely won't go back.

Food was good but the "Restaurant Week" deal wasn't. If the idea is to introduce new potential patrons to the restaurant and create a great impression, this experience made us less likely to return. Salad, which is normally included with an entree, should not have been included as one of the 3 courses for $30pp. The one lamb chop per plate order, regularly $21 with a salad, meant the "deal" was an appetizer for $9. This hardly seems a way to fill the restaurant for this special week and get folks to return. Maybe that's why many seemed to just order off the regular menu and forego participating in this city-wide special event.

We go to Sansone's several times each year and find their regular menu very good and with salad or soup and side dishes included. We decided to try the Restaurant Week selections. We were so disappointed-the appetizers were good but quite small and the entrees were small, especially when compared to their regular offerings(our companions wisely choose from the regular menu). My husband ordered the lamb chops except there was only one very small chop which was overcooked-he ordered rare. We will return to Sansone's but will only order from the regular menu. Other restaurants(ex.- Shanahan's) have a great deal.

Another lovely birthday dinner at Sansone's. The special was divine, Barramundi fish stuffed with smoked salmon and served with wonderful sides. Sansone's Bistro radiates with wonderful cuisine. Chef Robert and Erica, his wife extrordiane have made their place the place to go. I always prefer their fish selections especially the scallops which Friday night was served with bok choy and cauliflower, If you think you don't like these vegetables, you might change your mind. My husband liked the cod. Our canivore guests were happy with the tenderloin cooked to their specifications a little beyond rare. Our vegetarian gobbled down her pasta. We passed on dessert, but I know the Grand Mariner souffle is special.

Sansone's food is always excellent. It has a neighborhood feel as it's in a small strip mall and has fewer than 20 tables. However, our most recent visit was at a peak time - - 7pm on a Summer Friday - - and we waited 25 minutes past our reservation time for a table for 2. Small restaurants have limited flexibility when some customer linger longer than expected. The noise level is high but not intolerable.

My girlfriend and I went to Sansone's for dinner, and as usual the food was amazing, the service was great, and the wine was exceptional. However, in this case, we had an extra requirement due to my girlfriend's food allergies. Robert came out of the kitchen, got the details, and made her a liver and onions dish that she said was the best meal she ever had. I can highly recommend Sansone's!

This was a 2nd visit to the restaurant. 1st being several years ago, so we thought we'd give it a try again, for my husbands birthday. I remember it being better than it was. It has an older group, which we're creeping up on, and it seems like the food is geared towards older people. The salmon was very good, but the broccoli is the way my Mom likes it...soft! The wiener schnitzel wasn't anything to write home about either. To acknowledge my husband's birthday, they gave him a birthday card along with our check...what restaurant does that!

This little bistro is a MUST visit for any So. Denver local. While the host/hostess process needs some organization and prioritization, the food and remaining service was exceptional. We arrived for a 7pm reservation and didn't get seated until about 7:30pm while some other individuals without reservations were seated first so we decided to enjoy the small bar tucked in the corner. We tested the carpaccio and plat de paris sampler for appetizers and moved onto some gazpacho for an intermezzo. Our entrees were the lamb special with cherry glaze (hands down our favorite) and my spouse enjoyed the veal anjou (such a close second its a tough one). Even though you have to order it with dinner, the Grand Marnier souffle was fantastic!
