The food is excellent and for a casual dinner it's great.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMDefinitely worth a visitTraveling from out of town, we looked up on Open Table and liked what we read so we went to eat there. Food was very, very good and so was the service. Great location if you are in the theater district or Times Square. Would recommend to friends and family.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGood surpriseOur daughter recommended this restaurant to us since we were in the city seeing a show. It was a very pleasant surprise. Chicken and sausage Paella and Shrimp in garlic sauce were tasty. Stuffed mushroom appetizer delicious though small mushrooms. Fresh apple pie with ice cream capped off a nice meal. Excellent service. Restaurant a little empty on a Tuesday night pre theater. Surprising for restaurant row. Would go back. Lovely outdoor dining space in the back- would request next time in good weather.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBoth food and service surprisedBoth food and service surprised on the up-side based on some of the reviews we had read. Great menu with excellent selections. We loved the Paella and all of our dishes. Service was courteous and friendly. Atmosphere nicely informal. We look forward to returning.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMTaste Spain in the Theatre DistrictSangria 46 is a great way to discover the tastes of Spain, with good Spanish wine and attentive service, especially before or after going to the theatre. It's especially fun to order several dishes from the large tapas menu and share. The wait staff will help diners decide. Be sure to ask how spicy the dishes are so that there are no surprises.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love Sangria 46We have gone to Sangria 46 numerous times. So convenient to the theatre district. We always order the peach sangria...so good. We ordered many different things off the menu and always enjoyed our meals and tapas.
Give Sangria 46 a try.....I bet you'll like it!!!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food in the theater districtGood food in the theater district an attentive service4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant was quite busyThe restaurant was quite busy even though it was 5:30 on a weekday night, plus there was a very large group having dinner, which added a lot to the noise level. The sangria was delicious, as well as the mariscada and shrimps ajillo. This is a perfect spot for a pre-theater dinner, the waitstaff were very accommodating, attentive, and made sure that we would be on time for a 7:00 curtain.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMI like their strawberry andI like their strawberry and peach Sangeria! While service was a little slow, would try this place once again.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, great service,Great food, great service, wonderful sangria! I can't wait to go back.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner and a Lucky GuyMy wife and I dinned at S46 before attending Lucky Guy on Friday night. We arrived with just a few tables occupied, but as the dinner hour progressed the restaurant filled. The music was a tad too loud for casual conversation, but certainly energetic and pleasant sounding. Our food was great... the Sangria tasty. My wife had Paella, I ordered Rice with shrimp and Chorizo... both dishes were great... the Paella was so good that I regretted not ordering it myself...even though my dish was very tasty.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were going to have an earlyWe were going to have an early dinner before seeing a show. We hadn't eaten all day and decided to go earlier, between the lunch and early dinner crowd. They were very accommodating. The service was great. The food was really good. They gave us a free shot of vodka with a pineapple in it. It was a really nice touch and was an excellent vodka. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the restaurant to anyone thinking of going there.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was delicious, wineThe food was delicious, wine excellent, and a very good price value.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Spanish foodI have long avoided restaurant row as a tourist trip but since there is a lack of spanish restaurants we decided to give this a try. Good thing too - it was great. We were seated immediately and the waiter explained the beverages to us. We got the Sangria and it was delicious. Waiter told us the specials and answered all our questions about the menu. Our appetizers came in a 3 tiered serving tray to save table space. We got the calamari - a bit mushy; Sardines - good but not like in Spain; Croquetas de Yuca with spinach and cheese - should have gotten more. Our entree for 4 people was the Paella Valencia(we ordered a 2 person portion, good thing) it was very good. Plenty of seafood and not overspiced. Yummy! We will be back1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
