"We had a beautiful dining experience at Sandrine's. I had made a reservation for two on Open Table and was impressed that they had a 4 top table reserved for us. It was nice to have the extra dining space. I was nervous that we would be late for our reservation because parking was very tricky to find in Harvard Square. I would recommend taking the T or a taxi to avoid the hassle. Perhaps they offer valet though I did not notice? Our waiter was very polite and humble- friendly and down to earth. We greatly appreciated his efforts in making our dinner a memorable one, from memorizing all of the details of the extensive nightly specials, to offering superb recommendations on white and red wines. We will definitely return to Sandrine's again!"

"Sandrine's was a beautifully decorated, quiet restaurant, perfect for a celebration: a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or in our case, selling our condo. Staff was attentive and polite. The complementary bread was a little too crunchy, but still quite good. The fresh pea soup was delicious. The cold artichoke and shrimp appetizer was also quite tasty. My husband's duck entree was great, but my lobster risotto was a major disappointment. We skipped dessert. I'm hoping the cook just had an off night, as $30 for the lobster risotto was absolutely not worth it, I can make better myself at home. Friends have raved about Sandrine's, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and would try them again."

"A very cute restaurant with a nice menu. Though I liked our table, some of the other tables seemed odd (a few were placed very close to the bar).

The entrees and wine were great. Unfortunately, they ran out of the mussels appetizer the night we had dinner there. But the flatbread appetizer was a tasty substitute."

"Nice ambience if you are not sitting beside the kitchen. When you are enjoying good food and wine but hearing the daily working of kitchen and its wait staff it detracts from the entire experience."

"The restaurant and the menu were both very French in styling. Service was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Food was good but not quite as good as it appeared on the menu. The gorgonzola in my apple and gorgonzola salad played very much a minor role and the risotto that accompanied my duck was stodgy and tasted re-heated. All other disches for our table of 3 were very good. The dessert (pot au chocolat) was as rich and sticky as it should have been and the accompanying peanut brittle was a master stroke."

"We had not been to Sandrine's for a few years and wow, we have been missing out. The food/service was wonderful. Luckily our company at the next table left shortly after we arrived since the two men were talking loudly about how they were on their way to "get laid" not quite appropriate dinner fodder.
We thoroughly enjoyed out food done to perfection and the very nice friendly service. We will be sure to go back soon."
