No standard fare here. We had 6 different dishes. They were all delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Our waiter was great. He paid the appropirate amount of attention to us. Not overly attentive but readily available. The atmosphere was fun and romantic. The decor was kind of Hatian/Voodooesque and we enjoyed it. My only complaint is that it was extremely loud. I think that if my husband and I had been seated at a more intimant table, we would have been able to have a conversation. It made for an awkward special occasion dinner. That is the ONLY negative aspect and one that is an easy fix. Other than that, it was a great experience. The food was amazing and the service was top notch! Also the drinks we so delicious! We were even given a birthday dessert for my husband, on the house. Almost Manhattan in relation to proximity of other tables but just enough distance that we Midwesterners were not feeling cramped by our neighbors.
