We sat in the patio in the back, under a glass ceiling. Good prices on wine. Caesar salad was really good and my pasta dish was great. The brownie sundae was just okay. We chose to eat inside but the outside option looked very nice and we'll try that next time if the weather is right. The prices for the food and wine were extremely reasonable for such a nice Italian restaurant in New York City. The staff was very attentive but to the right degree! The owner doted on our table of two, flanked with capable and helpful waiters. I'm wine illiterate, but our server steered my date and I to a great choice. The food was satisfying--it was a departure from dainty little plates you usually run into in New York, however it wasn't where I'd take a discerning foodie. We were the last couple to leave - though the restaurant staff had had a busy day, their service level was impeccable. The lobster ravioli was delicious.
