Catering: The Andover Inn has two private rooms designed specifically for intimate parties of 50 people or less. The Phillips Room overlooks the campus of Phillips Academy and features original woodwork design prior to the renovation. The gas fireplace makes the room cozy and comfortable for any celebration. The inn is the perfect venue for bridal and baby showers as well as birthday and anniversary celebrations.
Private Party Facilities: Our private dining area, The Abbot Room, features a mahogany table surrounded by french doors and windows overlooking our garden. The room is equipped with audio visual capabilities for a business meal or casual dining. The room accommodates up to 12.

"I would never recommend this place to any of my friends. It was dis-organized; poor operation by management; not enough food for the buffet; all hot food cold; dis-jointed layout for a buffet set-up (up and down stairs???). They were not equipped to handle a holiday crowd."

"Our first time at the restauant and for Easter brunch. The food and service was great although we found it a bit unusual that the eggs benedict was served with scrambled eggs rather than poached. We spoke to our waitress about this and she said that the chef found this a bit weird too but that he was tied to the menu of the old chef. Would try Samuels again for lunch or dinner to see how they do in a regular dining situation."

"Food was OK. Service was particularly bad. Small menu and they were out of a number of items. Sorry- I wasn't impressed. I find no reason for such bad service. The kitchen can always have an off night, but service is easier to control."

"The noise level is significant, especially on the tables behind the bar. We had to ask to be moved because we could not carry a conversation. the waitress did not seem to have it together, bringing the tea without spoons for sugar, etc. I ordered a glass of wine which never made it to the table. Food was very good."
