The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived after work on a Friday night. The staff were extremely attentive, charming, friendly. The food was very good, inventive but not contrived. It'll take a second visit to see if it's "outstanding," but for now it certainly deserves a "very good." And it deserves another visit.

This was our second time dining there in less than a week,as we wanted to try the hamburger. The burger was quite tasty and thef fries were excellent. We did not like the bun the burger was served on because the bread could not stand up to the size of the burger. Perhaps a choice of Buns would be a good a idea.

This was a lovely find with a friendly waitstaff and the owner also is part of the service. The restaurant is more hi-tech on the end block of Water Street that has that Tribeca feel. The food was excellent. I had their crab cakes which were to die for. And as an oyster lover, they have a wonderful raw bar, too. Great wines and cocktails. This is a place to watch and definitely give a try.

This cozy restaurant is located slightly away from the Seaport traffic on a charming little street. Lovely decor inside. The staff were really attentive and friendly, with genuine care as to whether or not we were having a nice time and enjoying the food & drink. We all opted for the 4-course prix fixe dinner and enjoyed the variety of options available.

SamSara was a pleasant surprise as it was our firt time there and it really just blew away our socks!!!! Service was impecable to the hostess who sat us down, to our server to every body else who helped. We received a free glass of bubbles when we arrived which was a nice toouch and we thoroughly appreciated it! We felt rather spoilt. Apparently it has recently been renovated and it looks beautiful inside. Its definately a mix of sassy coctail bar, meets sassy restaurant. The food was great. In our party we had the monkfish, pork chop and the steak - all of which were just delicious. We also had appetisers of the day - oysters and a crab/avo bruchetta. I wouldn't say the food is 'fussy' - its just wholesome which is the way I like it.

We stopped by SamSara on Saturday after learning that they reopened, and all I can say is that it was worth the wait. We liked the restaurant and menu before, but now it is absolutely incredible. I also see they now deliver, which is great news here downtown. Pam and Eve the owners are there to greet every guest and make them feel welcome and comfortable. We also had the opportunity to meet Sean, the new Chef, and I told him that his crab cakes are honestly the best I have ever eaten! The new menu is delicious with variety and something for everyone, whether you are a carnivore or prefer vegetarian/seafood options. The new home made ice cream sandwich was also incredible. I will dream of that desert and be back for it soon!

We wanted to spend some time at South St Seaport, but did not want to eat at one of the loud, touristy restaurants. SanAara(which was newly opened) was very attractive, great bartender and good food. Portions could have been more generous, but it is a sleek, smooth place. We'll be back.
