A word from Samba Brazilian Steakhouse
From the moment you walk into Samba, you know for sure this isn't your father’s steakhouse! A dizzying array of sizzling, fire-roasted meats, ranging from Picanha (Brazilian beef sirloin) and tender pork loin, to savory sausages, chicken and lamb, are skewered, slowly roasted over an open flame and then expertly carved right at your table. And as if that wasn’t enough, the mouthwatering churrascaria feast won’t stop until you say so! We pair our succulent meats with an extensive buffet featuring salads, soups, and freshly prepared hot and cold side dishes. Churrascaria roughly translates from the Portuguese word for barbecue, and is a centuries old culinary tradition. At Samba, we honor the traditional rodi ⁄zio feast, while infusing it with new and unexpected tastes inspired by the pulse and energy of Brazilian culture. Our newly renovated space, perched on the edge of the ocean, is the perfect backdrop to our fabulous foods and inventive cocktails. Continued

  • "My wife and I went for my birthday dinner, which you can join their birthday club. Had a great time, a fun interactive show and polite and caring staff. Come hungry as the food keeps a coming. Great location , parking credit and a pier to walk after such a great meal and show. Thanks Samba."

  • "We were promptly seated by the hostess. Waitress introduced herself and served us ice water immediately. Salad bar was ok but we weren't there for salads. The meat servers just did not stop serving...our favorites were NY steak and lamb. Still in meat coma...."

  • "We really enjoyed the food and the drinks. Be prepared to eat a LOT! ;) The only thing that I didn't love was the price of the drinks, but we still had a great evening."

  • "Second time we've eaten at Samba and the service was excellent each time. We were there earlier this time with a great view of the water. We even had a couple dolphins swimming close by to watch while we are. Make sure you go there hungry as the meat just keeps on coming. "

  • "This is the place for you if you are a major carnivore...delicious beef, pork, lamb and chicken...small bites of each for everyone, hot off the spit."

  • "I like the ambiance of the restaurant with the waiters and the dancer where marvelous and gorgeous. I love that there's always a show and how the dancers engage withe the customers. I brought my niece and I am usual a foodie, but sampling all the meats but two of them, I we were both already full just from the first plate. I would like to experience the Brunch the next time to see the view because we were unable to going so late. "

  • "If your a meat lover this is definitely the place to eat a good and high quality variety of meats. Unlimited request of meats and unlimited visits to the salad buffet amd all for the same price. I love going on Sundays for brunch they include bottomless mimosas, sangria or champagne."

  • "Be careful on the drinks. If you order a virgin drink and they are not using alcohol in the drink, they still charge you regular price. We have been to different places and they never charged us for this. Other than that the food was good and so was the service, however, once staff member gave us the feeling of rushing us each time he came to our table asking if we are finished yet."

  • "The food was delicious! I loved the Tri-Tip. The show was great too, the girls were really beautiful and they knew how to dance very well. I will definitely come back again. The one thing I didn't like is that even with validation, I still had to pay for parking. They only accept cash so i had to turn around and park again to get money from the ATM. It was really a pain for me because on top of the ATM charge, my bank charges me for using a non-Chase ATM."

  • "Price is right for what you get, and its pretty good. Places like Fogo de Chao are more upscale so don't compare it to those."

  • "My samba experience was pretty good. The food tasted great, the meats were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The highlight was the samba girls dancing. Pretty cool stuff. First time at samba and a Brazilian steakhouse. Will be back soon."

  • "We were a dinner for two, but would be great for bigger parties as well..It seemed to be more for Adults, which we liked.. Food was excellent.. Especially the grilled fish & garlic steak!!! The salad bar was also very scrumptious! We were shocked to come when they show cased Brazilian dancers, which was very fun & they really get involved with the diners. Our waiter was awesome & asked all the right questions to surprise me with a birthday song & delicious cheese cake! Great experience! Can be very romantic given that you can sit by the window to see the sun set over the ocean & have a nice walk either before or after your meal depending on the weather! Enjoy!"

  • "Wow! Where shall I start? Samba Brazilian Steakhouse was Fantastic ALL around!! The service was great, you got waited on the minute you were seated. If was buffet type for you veggies and salads, but you were serviced with several types of meats from food servicers the moment you sat down. Meats were well seasoned and cooked. The entertainment was with the Samba dancers and you felt like you were part of the Brazilian culture."

  • "Not allowed to sit where requested. Told seats blocked and no one would sit there, but they did. One table was full of friends of the staff. We were not told to get our plates from the salad bar. Our servers were good, Vinnie was excellent. An hour and half is not a sufficient time to dine, given we've been to multiple restaurants of this kind."

  • "My mother gave us the dinner for two and we truly appreciate it...the dinner was exceptionally delicious and the service was excellent, their staff very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect...We will most definitely return..."

  • "The servers are friendly and attentive. That's the good news. The bad news is, the meat was generally either over or undercooked. It was dry and tough with almost every selection that was brought to the table. Plus the y use way too much salt when seasoning the meat."

  • "I bought a groupon to try this place out. The meat quality was horrible. Chewy flavorless. I wouldn't eat here if it were FREE. Save yourself the time and gas of even driving there."
    Dined on 4/1/2014
  • "The quality of the brunch did not justify the $40. brunch. Real value was $20-25 at most. Nice variety of meat, but the taste was not spectacular. There's much better Brazilian food options out there. It was one notch up from a Sizzler with less salad bar variety. Great location though."

  • "This is my 1st time eating at this Samba restaurant. Services was excellent and my friends who tag along with me also love it very much. We plan to come back to eat again."
    Dined on 3/30/2014
  • "The meat was good and scenic view was nice, but the restroom and kitchen looks dirty. To be a great restaurant, it is lack of 2% now. Even though it is located at the best place in ocean side, the overall condition of your facilities is not enough. Too bad!!! However, you have still chance to get more customer because the quality of meat was great still, But you cannot get a fame for the food quality only."

  • "Food was delicious, even the salad bar was great! Some of the meats are served rare, which is not my cup of tea. Great view of the ocean."

  • "I was so looking forward to eating at Samba, but alas I was greatly disappointed. Our waiter was terrific the food not so much. Unfortunately I have eaten at the Gaucho Village in Glendale which by the way is far superior.......... You have no idea what your eating at the salad bar - almost nothing is labeled. The meat is second rate and chewy. All in all it wasn't a good experience."

  • "I've been to several Brazilian Steakhouses, Some you wait long to get the next bite, some have the food is under-cooked, some overcooked and dry, However this place we started with the great salad bar that had a good variety that i personally enjoyed it, as I normally skip the salad bar, then the skewers were coming one after the other, every bite was perfectly cooked, kudos to the chef, very well marinated and cooked to perfection..! every bite was mouthwatering. Then you have a ten minute Samba Dancers dancing around the tables on the hour. We enjoyed it very much, I am already making plans to invite some of my friend in the near future."

  • "Needs some updating.. looks shabby/oldish... Drinks were great! All meat yummy! The salad bar area, some of the food not fresh."

  • "my family and I have been to Samba for our birthdays and each time has been a great dining experience. The salad bar has a great variety for every palate. The range of meats were fantastic and tasty."
    Dined on 3/29/2014
  • "We absolutely had a great time! The salad bar was no ordinary salad bar in that there were so many different exotic dishes. There were so many different varieties of delicious meats to choose from. Last but not least, the dancing brazilian women parading throughtout the resturaunt was eye popping. I am already planning my next visit."
    Dined on 3/28/2014
  • "As everyone noted, this place is overpriced and not worth paying full price of $35 pp. Don't intend coming here unless you have a coupon from Groupon or LivingSocial. The meat that comes around are somewhat overcooked and nearly burnt. The reason for this is if the servers aren't able to clear their stick, they put it back in the kitchen and let it sit in the heat until its time to go around and try serving it again. Another thing that bothers me is the tip percentage. You know for a fact these servers aren't worth tipping them a percentage of $75."
    Dined on 3/25/2014
  • "Food was terrible and they stopped service every half hour or so to blast terrible music and parade around "dancers". I've been to many Brazilian steak houses, and this is by far the worst. I won't be back."
