A word from Samba Brazilian Steakhouse
From the moment you walk into Samba, you know for sure this isn't your father’s steakhouse! A dizzying array of sizzling, fire-roasted meats, ranging from Picanha (Brazilian beef sirloin) and tender pork loin, to savory sausages, chicken and lamb, are skewered, slowly roasted over an open flame and then expertly carved right at your table. And as if that wasn’t enough, the mouthwatering churrascaria feast won’t stop until you say so! We pair our succulent meats with an extensive buffet featuring salads, soups, and freshly prepared hot and cold side dishes. Churrascaria roughly translates from the Portuguese word for barbecue, and is a centuries old culinary tradition. At Samba, we honor the traditional rodi ⁄zio feast, while infusing it with new and unexpected tastes inspired by the pulse and energy of Brazilian culture. Our newly renovated space, perched on the edge of the ocean, is the perfect backdrop to our fabulous foods and inventive cocktails. Continued

  • "Food is great if you are into meats but there are availabe fruits and salad as well. Price is great if you have coupons or vouchers. There is no free parking. They do validate but you still have to pay a little."

  • "Each meat skewer was absolutely delicious. We dined for Sunday brunch and they were making fresh yummy omelettes! The view is beautiful."

  • "There were a total of 4 hostesses and none had a clue on what they were doing. After checking in for our reservation we were told there was a wait. We waited for 40min. They were rude, snobby, and uncoordinated. The gave our table away to a walking in couple because they forgot to check us in. And when I brought it up to their attention they were rude and still didn't give me a wait time. The only highlight was our waiter who when heard that my mom had acquired a migraine due to the heat in the restaurant, was kind enough to bring some aleve from the first kit for her."

  • "We ate at Samba on our recent trip to Redondo Beach, and it was quite the experience. Hint: Don't fill up beforehand! I think your experience here could vary depending on where you sat in the restaurant... if you are by the kitchen, you get first choice of all the freshest meats coming out, but if you are in the middle of the restaurant, you get what is left after the other tables have picked the options over. I can easily see this being a five-star experience or a two-star, depending on seat location, so be specific when making your reservation. For the price we paid with a groupon, it was a great value, but I would not have been so happy if we had paid full-price and been seated where we were."

  • "The only good part of our evening was being promptly seated at 8pm. 30 mins later, had only been offerred toasted garlic bread and chicken. Supposedly, there are numerous meat choices, but by 9pm, we were advised the "grill" would be closing, after having sampled only about 4 meat offerings. Disappointing meal!"

  • "So much fun getting large swords of meat brought to your table and so yummy!"

  • "*This is NOT a fancy place...decor looked ancient and tacky. *The service was prompt and courteous. Service was good. *The quality of food was not great. A lot of meat were tough and overcooked in my opinion (but I like my meat rare). I really liked the tri-tip though! It was tender and juicy. But if you come here, be prepared to sample a LOT of meat. *The salad bar was smaller than anticipated, but had an eclectic selection. Kale Salad was great and refreshing after all that meat. *I love the marina where it is located. Great place by the ocean to take a walk after stuffing yourself full of meat."

  • "This was my first time at Samba. Honestly the food was good but we've had better at other Brazilian BBQ spots but the service was 2nd to none. From the time we sat down we had the attention of our waitress and the food just kept flowing. Even though the restaurant filled to capacity within minutes of us arriving they didn't miss a beat. Great job on a busy Friday evening!"

  • "It's my first time to eat at Samba and I brought ER for his birthday treat. We were seated promptly as we arrived for our reservations through Open Table. Place has a nice view and not much people for an early dinner. Our server Silvia introduced us to Samba's concept of dining, though I really know it works. It is just amazing that Silvia was enthusiastic explaining how it goes. The buffet of sides was ok, cheese bread was like cheese with a dough to me, too much cheese. Salads were ok, no plantains though. Then comes the meat....a hit and miss. Sirloin was good, picanha was ok at first serve but tough on the second. Lamb was ok but not the bacon wrapped turkey for me. Try the place and use a coupon! :-)"

  • "A party of four of us, went and started out the evening with carpiuhanas ( don't know the spelling)- the special Brazilian drinks during Happy Hour . Great drinks (some sweeter than others). Salad bar was plentiful, but of course the main event is the Meat ! Juicy , well seasoned ( I ordered A-1 Sauce ,but didn't need it) for the steaks. The variety of the meats was great (including shark). Two of indulged in the dessert tray, I was too full. Missed the dance show(but I've seen them on different day)-it's fun too. I'll be back. Always have a great time."

  • "The buffet was great and the meat was wonderful! Service was good. Not sure why we were only offered one piece of bread (smile), but other than that, everything was so solid. Can't wait to return!"

  • "Our OT reservation for 4 people at 6:00 on a Friday night meant zero wait upon arrival. All staff members hit the mark in terms of customer service. Specialty meats were delicious, buffet area was clean, food was freshly prepared & well stocked."

  • "The food and the service were great, but I think the 18 % gratuity charge is just way to high. I paid like $50 for the gratuity charge. Way to much for a tip that is a rip off."

  • "Love this place! The salad bar items are ok. Salads are better. Some hot items in salad area were bland. Its all about the meat! Tasty and fresh off roaster. Loved our waiter Ricardo."

  • "I've been here many times and the service this time was even better than last time. Awesome selection of meat rotates around and theyll even cook ot longer of you like it well done like we do. look for the Groupon to get an amazing deal!"

  • "Not worth the $$. Meat tended to be overcooked, so dry and tough. No plantains or yucca. The salad bar was not very appealing and the few things I tried did not taste good. The best items were the oranges, the garlic bread, mashed potatoes, rice and garlic beef. The waiter was nice but the hostess, not so much. Very nice view of the ocean if you want to pay $35 per person for a nice view."

  • "It was a great experience at Samba Brazilian SteakHouse. The food was delicious. Good variety of food. Went with groupon offer and it's cheap for the price you pay. Although we expecting to pay tax for the whole thing so it ended up being more than $25 which is not as cheap anymore. Overall good experience."

  • "Went in with a Groupon that I had purchased on father's day with my wife and two children. Coupon good Sunday thru Thursday. They rejected the Groupon because it was a major holiday. However when challenged about father's day being a major holiday the manager became belligerent. My wife and I eat there at least one every couple of months. We won't be back last time lousy food this time rude management. You need to find a manager with common sense. We were there at four pm. Not busy and made a minor disturbance mostly over being rudly spoken to by your manager or front desk manager. Not smart we will not be back not will anybody we get a chance to speak with. I always vote with my wallet."

  • "I treated my husband to Sambas for his birthday. It was our first time there. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will go back to dine there soon. Our favorites are Tri-tip, lamb chops, fish, spicy steak, garlic bread and the Buffett. It's just as good as Fogo De Chao in Beverly Hills."

  • "Took my father to celebrate "Father's Day" (first time for the both of us) & it made the day that much more memorable. My father was relaxed, excited, delighted & joyous. All that I could have wanted him to be on his special day. The service was outstanding & the view was phenomenal. The dancers were vibrant, delightful and friendly. I've already placed this 5 star rating on my facebook page. Thank you for such an amazing experience."

  • "For 55 a plate, ALL of the food is severely lacking. Went for the father day brunch, and the omelette station was a joke.. Limited toppings, one cook, two working burners which means the line was ridiculous. They say there are 20 rotating meals, 20? Yah right. All I saw were the same 4 meats(dry, tough meat)and 1 fish option being rotated so slowly.. I had to go back to the buffet bar for the rice, and the spinach salad(ONLY two good options) just so I could have something on my plate. The other "brunch" options.. Stale croissants, tasteless cream cheese.. What I can only assume we're "French toast sticks" were mushy tasteless pieces of bread that my one year old wouldn't even eat. The sausage was cold.. All in all, won't be coming back.."

  • "I was impressed with the food and the way the food was served. My only negative is that the place looks rundown which zaps some of the good feelings out of you. Waitress was slow in closing out our bill. Meat carvers were great! Huge selection of meats!"

  • "We were LATE for our 6pm reservation due to horrible traffic - made another reservation on-line (in the car) for 8:30.... We arrived at 7:30 and we were seated at 8:10. Crowded for a Saturday night and service and staff were great. Only thing I would take note: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PINEAPPLE???? And there were times where we had to wait and wait for another option to come around. I prefer the City Walk location over this one - seems they have more servers and the rotation of meats is more frequent. Sides were great - many to choose from and all excellent... Had a Groupon and it didn't disappoint....."

  • "Good food...plenty to eat. Services horrible, waited to be seat over 45 minutes passed our reservation then to find out lots of empty tables around us after being seated..rrrr! Not recommended for group, automatically charged you for 18% tip whether your waiter or waitress there or not. In our case, we had to track down our waitress for drinks. She was there twice-- ordered our drinks and brought us our check included her 18%=$86+ I Asked the host to speak to the manager and she said "...he unavailable and 18% is our policy..." unbelievable, right? We spent over $300, that the service we got....it was our first and will be our last eating at Samba..."
