You should know that the patio is first-come, first serve. I ordered walleye and my husband ordered halibut from the fresh fish menu. Both were fantastic! Couldn't ask for a better meal. My husband also ordered mussels as an appetizer. Salut has excellent mussels - if you like mussels! Although Salut was very busy, we were seated immediately. The service was excellent. Just the right level of attention. They have a great outdoor dining area but unfortunately it was too cold (early May!) to eat outside. Maybe next time?

But I have told the management how much I resent being charged five dollars for a bottle of root beer.

The service is top notch (friendly / knowledgeable / flexible and accommodating). The bartender made a wonderful martini, the host sat us at a table of our request, our wait-person was intelligent, mannerly and easy to talk to and his side-staff was just as accommodating. We enjoyed the loveliest shrimp cocktail with the largest, firmest shrimp I've ever seen. The menu was varied and everything we ordered was well prepared and displayed to please the eye as well as the stomach. We'll become faithful patrons. Noise was moderate, which was fine for business conversation. Portions are definitely on the smallish size. I ordered the Steak Frites. The hanger steak was perfectly prepared, although a very small serving and the fries were great, however the serving held many small pieces, runts. Price for the meal was on the edge of being overpriced, however when you factor in the service and quality of food I was ok with it. Beer selection is small, but with many good choices appropriate for the food. Full bar, decent wine selection

Easter brunch was so delightful! Fabulous eggs Benedict and quiche (duh!) . Real French coffee, too! Most menu items are a bit overpriced but the food is great. My only complaint was I was originally seated practically 'on top of' a table of 4 when there were SO many other tables available.
