  • "The food is very good and was plated beautifully. The servers were exceptional as well as knowledgeable about the menu."

  • "we have been there before , we usually are on the deck however we were inside . I was just as nice inside as out side We had six people in are party and every one was very pleased with the food and the service . I paid the bill for all six of us with drinks and I was very happy on the price I paid with a tip . Under 300 dollars ."

  • "Everyone was taken with the oysters and clams in pesto sauce, not to mention the salmon special entree. A view on the deck of the sun going down on the Olympic mountains, with blankets for those who got a bit chilled, is the ultimate summer experience!"

  • "Go in season for salmon for best fish. Parking is tight."

  • "It was our First time having brunch there and the food was fantastic! We will be returning again in the future."

  • "Overall was good. Hard to get around to the buffet due to small area's. This was our second visit to the Redondo location. Our 1st visit a few months ago the crab was outstanding. This visit it was almost mooshie. We notices many of the shells were more brown where should be white so not sure if they were over cooked. Also on trips to the crap the employee filing would ask us to move to re-fill. Otherwise the drinks, service, and food were good."

  • "We brought my in-laws here from LA for the Sunday seafood brunch which included a raw bar of dungenous crab legs, shrimp, and oysters. They also had carved prime rib, kielbasa, cook to order omelettes, crepes and pasta. We were really impressed by the quality of the food as well as the service! The view definitely can't be beat. My husband and I will be back for date night :-)"

  • "My relatives come from Hawaii and schedule to be here when they can attend the Sunday brunch because the food is fabulous. The service is wonderful and the servers are fantastic!"

  • "We had dinner reservations for Saturday at 7:00 PM. Although the restaurant was very busy, the hostess managed all of the arriving guests with a great smile, speed and efficiency. The server was friendly and very professional. Service was exceptional. The assistant manager stopped by our table to confirm that we were happy with our dinner. The copper river salmon was excellent."

  • "Nice touches for my mother's 67th birthday. Had balloons at table. Cake was yummy and gratis. Treated her really well. Loved the mixed grill. Go before 6 and make reservations, less crowded."

  • "Always an excellent experience. Service and food outstandig! One of my favorite places for outdoor dining in the summer."
    Dined on 7/18/2014
  • "The wait staff is efficient and they do serve promptly. The food is well prepared and priced reasonably. This is a very busy restaurant and it appears to have a faithful clientele. Better than just for special occasions."

  • "We went to Salty's again abd the new menu is fantastic. The truffle frites and the lobster risotto and Manila clams were fantastic! The copper river salmon with the seafood medley were spot on. The only thing I didn't care for was the dirty rice with andoulli sausage. The spicynessif the sausage and spice in the rice made it seem like one item not 2. Don't forget the white chocolate mousse cake for desert! Outside ambience watching the sunset on the deck led to a bonus for me after the date lol enjoy!"

  • "My wife and I went to Salty's for the first time 18 years ago and talked about it ever since. We went back to Seattle for vacation and had to put it on the must do list again."

  • "The food are excellent but service need some improvement."

  • "This is really a nice location with great views of Puget Sound. The seafood is fresh and good. The rest of the buffet is excellent, too. It is a bit expensive for what you get. To get value here you have to really love seafood and the sea views. We do so we come back on special occasions a few times a year. Service was polite and adequate but I was rather disappointed to never be offered a coffee refill until I specifically asked. My cup stood empty on the table for quite some time without anyone noticing."

  • "So it's funny that they ask you to "limit" your "dining experience" to 1 1/2 hours. Since the food took almost an hour to show up. We waited for a table outside, even though we had a reservation. The table we were seated at was open the entire time until we sat at it. The food took a long time to come except for the Truffle Fries, which are great BTW. Even the salads took a long time. Then, only part of the meals were delivered. And although the waitress was great and very personable (she took the missing food off the bill) the service was really slow and not worth the trip for the "view" from where we drove to get there. Will go to Salty's in Alki Beach next time. Too bad."

  • "I have been to Salty's at the Alki & at Redondo locations several times in the last 3 years. Of course, being at Salty's we always order a fish entrée, usually Dungeness crab. The meals have always been well prepared and the price for lunch has been reasonable. The other draw to Salty's is the friendly staff. They have been informative and accommodating for any special needs or occasions. Receiving emails is nice because there are often recipes from the chefs."

  • "We were treated special even at a brunch. We received a special dessert for our anniversary. Wonderful service"

  • "We have eaten at this location several times, and it never fails us. The salmon was perfectly prepared, and my husband loved his oysters. The recognition that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary was very sweet, and the table we had was superb."

  • "The ceviche was quite good and we enjoyed the scallops. It was a busy night but the whole crew handled everything in a timely manner"

  • "$210 Meal for two of badly cooked Halibut cheeks and Copper River salmon-a shame for two specialty items; only highlight was the service ( and the cup of chowder ); to be avoided."
    Dined on 6/26/2014
  • "First time at Salty's and it was fantastic! We had a beautiful evening, perfect for sitting on the deck and enjoying the outdoor atmosphere. I had the Mixed Seafood Grill and my two guests had the Copper River Salmon. All three dishes were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The seafood chowder was also very delicious. I'm not from the Seattle area but will be sure to visit Salty's again on my next visit!"

  • "Salty's is a nice older restaurant that sits right on the Redondo beach. The atmosphere is relaxing, but the food was not to die for. The menu is limited, and portions are small. Prices are high for the food. Not impressed."
    Dined on 6/24/2014
  • "Salty's is the closest restaurant to home and we have eaten there twice since moving here 2 months ago. The food is always good and the service excellent but be prepared to spend $100+ for 2 with wine. The seafood is excellent and always prepared in innovative and unexpected ways. If the weather is good, the outside tables are a must because the whole restaurant is on a pier and you are right on the water."
    Dined on 6/23/2014
  • "This restaurant in my opinion is very overrated. The location is nice but the food is really so-so and very expensive. There were crumbs on my chair and the window sill next to my chair. The music was loud and we got seated next to the bussing station even though we were one of the first diners to arrive after they opened. So we had to sit through silverware clanging, waiters chatting, look at water pitchers lined up, loud 70's-80's soft rock. The meals were not exceptional and nothing memorable. We didn't get any drinks and still the bill with tip fr three people was 175.00 for a couple of small appetizers and 3 dinners with no salads or chowder."

  • "We had a very enjoyable brunch. The food selection was very good. We made our reservation online and had a table the minute we walked into the restaurant. We highly recommend Salty's at Redondo Beach!"

  • "I chose this restaurant for my wife and I to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. From our initial impression with the hostess through out our entire meal; we were treated as special guests. Of particular note was our server; Jared. He was attentive, polite, well-mannered, knowledgeable and took time for our concerns. We were truly blessed to have been served by Jared."

  • "Overall good food and service. Waiter was a little too laid back but did a good job. And it fit our own desire for a nice romantic evening. Great view and it was summer solstice! The sun started to set and it got a little chilly. They had a few heaters but not enough. Offered blankets, which we appreciated. Good selection of beers. We thought our appetizer was a little too greasy and was because it was fried food. Main meal a little on the small side, for what we paid. The salmon special had mashed potatoes, which were excellent but only two asparagus!"

  • "Had heard a lot about Salty's and always wanted to go there. Got together with a friend and had a great time. We bad because was on a Sat. at 5:30 but found a parking spot and a waterview table. Our waitress, Erin was busy but made everyone feel we were her only table. Our friend had gone to Salty's in Alki and said that she liked the Redondo Beach better."

  • "We were well attended to without being rushed. The food (fish tacos) was very good and the outdoor seating and sunshine made this a perfect venue to catch up with an old friend."

  • "We're frequent visitors to Saltys in Redondo and often take out of town guests there. This week I took my best friend for her birthday celebration. The service is the best thing. Chris was our waiter this time, and despite having a huge party next to us, he gave us wonderful service, as do all the waiters there. They have women wait staff also, but we always seem to get a man."

  • "We tried it again after a bad experience on Mother's Day, it was just ok not great. The Riesling we ordered they were out of. 3 items one the menu we wanted to order they were out of. We had a new waitress and she did well for only being their a few day. The bus boy Was the best I have ever seen anywhere. He was so good not only with our table but in the entire restaurant, so much so I made a comment to the manager."

  • "Maybe a separate area for large groups that want to talk to everyone at their table?"
    Dined on 6/17/2014
  • "You can't beat Salty's for the food and ambience. They gave great seafood. Be prepared to pay quite a bit more than normal though. A $40 bottle of wine, 1 appetizer each, one entree each, no dessert, tax and tip $277.00."
    Dined on 6/17/2014
  • "We were seated next to a very large work group dinner and could not talk to each other across the table as the noise level was way to loud. My son and I ordered the Ahi and were very disappointed in the portion size. For the amount of money you charge for this dish, to only receive 6 or 7 pieces the size of half dollar is very disappointing. We have had Ahi at other local places nad received 6 or 7 slices of Ahi which would be 2 to 3 times the amount of Ahi for the same price. So to sum up the evening, the noise level was to loud to enjoy talking to anyone at our table. The food was good, not great and the portion sizes were to small."

  • "Great setting on the water....IF you get a good table. A table for 6 is tough. We wanted by the window...great view. Got seated in the back near the front door. Waiter poorly trained to handle "special" request. I wanted to pay $200 toward total bill (since my family was not prepared for the expensive check)......I secretly sought out the waiter in the back of the restaurant and asked him to put $200 on my card. When he brought the check to the table he commented "Here is your $200, sir.....the balance is for the four of you". Ughhhhh.....did not want my family to know. Embarrassing. Food was fair.....not bad/not great....very average."
