  • "Get there at the very beginning of Happy Hour. It was packed by 5pm. The food was great!"

  • "My spouse and I ordered an appetizer and a meal to split. The kitchen made an error and sent us a "Fried Seafood Martini" meal that had an assortment of steelhead, calamari, cod, shrimp, and chips. We didn't recognize the error immediately, but the waitress did as she passed our table. She offered to re-order our appetizer, but we had already eaten enough of the meal that we requested that she only send our entree. Our bill only reflected the appetizer and the entree that we had ordered and they provided our dessert for free to rectify the error. All of the staff were professional, courteous, and prompt. Our entree, Seafood Neptune, was amazing. The scallops were perfectly tender and buttery. The salmon was moist and flavorful."

  • "Absolutely the best service and incredible food! We have been to Salty's many times and it has always been top notch! I never hesitate to bring family and friends for a great night out and it always ends up being a favorite part of their trip! Absolutely the Best of the Best!!"

  • "The food is always wonderful at Salty's and the service is great and very attentive. The various courses came out so quickly we almost felt like we were being rushed but I don't know if this was because it was Restuarant week and they were really prepared or what, but the wait service did not make us feel like we had to hurry at all. My only issue was the location of our table, which was behind some plants which really cut off our view. We had reservations, so I was expecting to get one of the many window seats or at least a table with a view so this was a big disappointment. I probably should have spoken up, but it wasn't until we were seated and the appetizer was in front of us, that I really noticed the lack of view. "

  • "My wife and I went to Salty's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Having a mid-April anniversary in the Pacific Northwest is a hit-or-miss deal, but we were fortunate enough to dine on an evening with a beautiful sunset. Salty's does wonderful things with seafood. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate place, this may not be the restaurant for you. It was quite noisy, although it quieted down significantly after the sun went down. Nonetheless, the food was great, the service friendly, and the view spectacular. We had a wonderful time and will return."

  • "Brunch was awesome, but we were seated at a bad table by the bathrooms and with no view."

  • "We arrived early, it was a beautiful day thus there were many people for the Sunday brunch. They seated us late about 15 minutes because we also had my little grandson 2 mos’ old I was hoping to get seated sooner. The manager/lead asked me how long we had been waiting, I stated my son and daughter arrived at 10:50am for our 11:15am reservations, I arrived at 11:05am hoping to be seated on-time. After requesting a window seat, because we had waited so long they obliged. Thus we ended up having a wonderful pleasant experience. Other than the seating being a bit tight the waiter was exceptional and I liked the fact that the manager made sure we were comfortable and pleased with our seating and the service. Great Job!"

  • "I was sold on Salty's 30 years ago by a friend who used to work at SeaTac Airport. I've promised my wife to take her to the finest seafood place on the west coast, and I FINALLY kept my promise. We both loved the visit. We were luicky enough to get the last two Maine Lobsters in the tamk. I even make a dry-run to find Saltys after all of these years, and managed to get turned-around somehow on the way in the evening. One of your staff very kindly took the time to direct me back to the right path. We were 15 minutes late, and yet you still managed to get us a great table. The food, the staff and the view during our special dinner were all perfect. Thank You!"

  • "Sat with a friend. As we spoke and ate our delicious food, the older couple at the table next to us were showing their love and adoration for eachother. It was so sweet. We normally have to sit by noisy kids and parents that don't pay attention. Yes, I am a mom. What a pleasant evening wrapped in delicious food, tasty drinks, awesome server and a beautiful view of the loving couple sitting just a table away."

  • "Great restaurant in sleepy little Redondo! Lots of windows overlooking the Sound. Nautically themed, comfortable for a casual lunch, and dresses up nicely for a special night out. Waiter, Phillip, was outstanding! Just the right amount of attention, suggestions, along with very prompt and efficient. I'll ask to be seated in his section my next visit."

  • "So very disappointed with the service and food selection for dinner. I have been there several times for brunch and had phenomenal service and food/drinks. We made reservations in advance for a very special evening for our 85 yr old grandmother. We were at the first seating and not even sure who our waitron was. They all seemed very unorganized. It took over 15 mins to even get our order taken. Then a long wait on our food. They were prompt with filling water glasses and beers. Once our food did come we ate and talked and tried to enjoy the meal, even though service wasn't great. We then sat there for at least 15 more minutes with empty plates and 5 more to even ask for a check. Lesson learned great for brunch terrible for dinner."

  • "The food and service was good. I had the halibut which was 1/2" at The thickest maybe 5 oz portion for $36. Wasn't $36 worth of goodness. But then I knew Salty's is overpriced. I will stick with the holiday brunches."

  • "this has become one of our favorite places for special events (for me that is getting to spend quality time with my wife). we love the scenic views, the decor, the food, the service."

  • "My hotel recommended the restaurant to me, and I was not disappointed. Being recently diagnosed with Celiac (Gluten Allergy, but not by choice.), it's always hard to find good restaurants that offer really good food. Salty's did just that. I don't live in the area, but plan on coming back my next trip to the Seattle area."

  • "When I arrived I was told by the hostess that part of my group was in the bar. She told me to go get my group, and then she would seat us. I had never been to this location, so I thought it was rather strange that she would not show me where the bar was, and she just pointed and said the bar is down the hall on the left. The service by our waiter was great. He was very attentive. One thing that stood out was how loud the music was in the restaurant. This was an early Sunday evening, and they were playing 80's music very loud. It was not a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I woudl not recvommend this restaurant if you want a quiet evening out. The food and the wait staff was very good though."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed the overall experience and the food was good but it is way overpriced. For example, their seafood fettuccine is thirty dollars, which in this reviewer's opinion is a little much to pay for a small portion of any pasta dish. Every item on the menu was overpriced. We have been to nicer places for much less money."

  • "The wine, the bread from Essential Baking and the ambiance are great. The staff was friendly and eager to please. But the food is just not good quality. The chowder was bland and tasteless, the salmon filet was soggy and was just a very small piece on a large mound of rice. The chutney with the salmon was very good though. The oysters did not taste fresh at all and only one type was available. The menu and prices are pretentious. Unfortunately the food quality does NOT live up to the price level. The best on our table were the bread and maybe the fish and chips which was average but not horrible. We have been to Salty's many times over the last 20 years but does not like this latest version of the restaurant . No, we will not be back."

  • "We had theatre tickets are Knutson Theatre and wanted to dine close by, but at a nice location on the water. From the arrival at the parking lot to the final bill, everything was wonderful. I made reservations on-line and found my table waiting at the exact time I had reserved. Food really was awesome and I tried something I don't usually eat, but the description was tempting and the waiter did recommend it. As I looked out into the restaurant, I noticed the cute fish decorative heads under each wall lamp and noticed that every table had an impeccable view of the water - very impressive. We'll be back."

  • "Our waitress was a lovely young woman who made us feel very special the entire time we were at table. The staff at front were equally gracious and helpful. A trainer/mgr was shadowing a waiter the whole time we were there. Her presence seemed a bit intrusive to me as a customer and made me feel uncomfortable for the waiter. He was doing an excellent job of being gracious and knowledgeable as far as I could see. I am very aware of people and how they feel and the restaurant is in close quarters and so it felt awkward at best to be witnessing this "surveillance" of a good employee."

  • "Had a lobster tail and one of the specials. Was delicious, good service, and good portions. Staff had a small cake ready for my wife since it was her birthday, and were nice enough not to automatically do some obnoxious birthday song. Will definitely eat here again."

  • "Have been going to this restaurant for many years and ALWAYS enjoyed it. Recently the menu has become VERY limited. The price increases and limited menu choices make this restaurant a place where I will only go to for brunch from now on."

  • "My husband and I took our daughter , son in law, and a friend for Sunday brunch. The food was amazing and the service was attentive. The only regret I have is not making an earlier reservation! It was at the end of the brunch, and although there was plenty of fresh food, I wished we had allotted ore time to enjoy"

  • "We go to Salty's as often as we can. We live 35 minutes away so it is not real convenient for us. The brunch is one of the best........probably the best in WA. state. We would go to brunch a couple of times a month when we lived in So. CA. They have so many good ones. Salty is on par with any of the best ones. We truly look forward to having outstanding seafood, prime rib and so many other items to choose from including a decadent assortment of desserts. We will be going back in a few weeks and I can't wait!"

  • "We went with a group of 13 family members between Christmas & New Year. The food was good, generous servings, and the view of the Puget Sound was amazing. We really enjoyed the nutcrackers that lined the deck and took several photos with them. The best part of the night was that it was a special family gathering and the sevice was fantastic. They really cook care of all our needs. I really suggest you go here if you want to be treated well and enjoy good seafood with a spectacular view."

  • "We have just moved to the state 7 months ago and live in Browns Point. Our favorite restaurant has been Cliff House, we eat out about 30 - 40 nights and in the short time of living in the Seattle area we have eaten from Seattle to Tacoma and all the way up to Kingston. Eating all types of food, your restaurant - employees - food and views have become hands down our favorite #1 place in Washington. Great job people and be home to see you all again soon."

  • "The crab was still frozen, the prime rib slice was teeny tiny, our water glasses were always empty and when my pasta arrived it was not even warm. Disappointing for the price. Also, the tip was automatically put on our bill with an additional tip tax! The make it yourself Bloody Mary was 12.95 on top of the brunch price. Liked the scones."
