Seated right away and ordered drinks. 7 year old was very hungry and was served almost immediately. Great touch. Great meal and fantastic day. We were asked our drink options immediately and were given excellent service. The waitress was thorough and suggested appetizers for our table which were delicious, especially the crab cakes. The entrees were well timed after our appetizers and were exceptional. We were offered dessert, which we had as well. This was prepared exactly as we ordered it.. my husband ALWAYS uses steak sauce... he didn't even ask for it! :-) It was all very good... The staff was one of the best we had in the entire time we had been in Galveston. The food was probably some of the best. The layout is open so it does not have a cozy feel but the ambiance is that of finer dining but with an element of hot spot. The noise level was When in Galveston you better expect fresh, great seafood and the Seawater Grill delivered. I had the special and it was great. A word of warning, the specials are about twice as much cost as the regular menu but it didn't bother me because it was so good.
