"Salt Water Grill is noted for its seafood and the special for the evening, the Basil Crusted Redfish on Crab Risotta with Vegetable Ratatouille was excellent. The fish was perfectly cooked, light and flaky and the bits of crunchy basil crust with the creamy risotta was a wonderful combintation.
We were celebrating a special ocassion and had requested a special table through our Open Table Reservation. When we arrived we were seated in a booth away from the tables of the main dining area. The bar was nearby and very busy but was not a distraction. The service was excellent from our very knowledable waiter , Chance."

"I have gone about six times in past year. The food is very good. The wine list is impressively affordable, way above average. The waiters are often distracted, not clearly focussed on the patrons. It is sometimes difficult to attract their attention, which can be quite annoying. They seem to have a rule of keeping their eyes straight ahead, only checking tables at relatively long intervals. Not oriented to service."

"Took our 2 year toddler there for an early lunch. Food was great and the service attentive. They also let our toddler run around the lobster tanks and entertained him when he was getting a bit restless. Highly recommended."

"The Salt Water Grill is one of our favorite restaurants. We celebrate special occasions here with our familiy...we drive in from Houston. The food is outstanding! Not your typical fried food "touristy" restaurant. Thanks also to Calvin (our waiter) for a wonderful experience!"

"The Shanghai Delight was perfectly cooked and the broth flavorful. My colleagues felt their special, the lamb chops, were undercooked and did not need the pale brown sauce on top. The appetizers we ordered including the mussels in white wine, fried oysters, and scallops wrapped in bacon are to die for! Cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth! Truly go here for seafood as the name implies!"

"The poor service had a serious affect on what would otherwise have been a great meal. Water never came, though requested 3 times (finally got it from hostess), one of four appetizers came almost with entrees (and it was the best of all, the mussels in wine sauce), got bread with entrees only after asking. Sea bass and red fish were both good. Restaurant was extremely loud, maybe waitress couldn't hear us??"

"Have been here many times before - server kept rushing us this time - came early to have nice dining experience before Opera House concert at 8:00. Lobster risotto was flavorless and lobster tail on top looked like fake plastic and was tasteless. Actually, all our food had no taste without adding LOTS of salt and pepper. Shouldn't the chefs season the food?"
