"Great restaurant. The service was a bit slow in the beginning but as the meal progressed the service improved. The appetizer menu was much more appealing than the large plates so we ended up having tapas and salad instead. I would suggest this place for dinner downtown."

"It was an enjoyable evening, but nothing remarkable. They have dialed into the gastropub feel, but don't have anything that would blow you away. The ambiance was definitely nice and I could see going there with a group, but nothing to rave about."

"The main bar is downstairs at the ground level and they have drink specials from 4 to 7. Upstairs is the main dinning room and it is difficult to describe the food..........high end "pub grub" or interesting tappas fits best. Bottom line I would give it another try as it is close to the theaters downtown."

"Friendly service, but all the dishes that we tried (2 apps, 2 entrees, and dessert) were all very bland. Cocktail list sounded interesting as well, but we found the drinks to be pretty disappointing."

"Amazing food and service but I think they are killing the place by changing the menu. 3 of the 4 dishes I wanted to order were gone. Bathos was my third visit here. I heard another table asking for pumpkin soup and butternut squash ravioli too. It was still great but now I'm afraid next time they will change it again. Our server was terrific too. Made it a great night."

"We were vitising San Diego and ate here for my husband's birthday dinner. We are both adventurous when it comes to food and we chose this place specifically after reading the menu. It definitely did not disappoint. In addition, my cocktails were delicious and our server was EXCELLENT - we had out 2 year old son with us who was extremely cranky, but she was great with all of us!"
