The service was outstanding and the food was not to be missed! We had the raddicio crab salad that they are famous for along with an octopus salad that was some of the most tender octopus I've had. we head into Philly from West Chester and give it a try. Free parking available within a half block -a real plus. Great neighborhood restaurant. Cozy bar area and interesting decor. We we there on a Friday night and not too busy. Service was good and staff was friendly. Lots of specials-almost too many to remember. Appetizers and wine came out quickly, however, entres took about 25 minutes to arrive. We didn't mind as we were not in a hurry and were just enjoying the time out. All in all a good dinng experience and my out of town guests enjoyed the meal and experience. The veal is awesome!!! The service is impeccable and the food was even better.
To top it off we felt that it was very reasonably priced for what we ate.
I used to think this was a tourist attraction but I was wrong. It is a neighborhood gem for sure.
We loved our friendly bartender also. He recommended drinks for us that were fabulous.
This is a place where everything comes together. If we had to change one thing, it would be the decor.

My kids ate pasta and Ravioli, while I had the Veal Saltimboca. (I forget what my wife had). The Veal was excellent, and may have been the best Salimboca that I have eaten! The deserts were also very tasty.
Most importantly, the waitstaff and management treated us very well. The service was on point and friendly.

Franky the Bartender wasn't working on Friday evening, but Franky the server was and he was also a fantastic personality. I have now eaten here three times and all of them were out of the park. Th crab bisques was incredible and the Filet Moda keeps me coming back. I don't think that I have ever experienced a steak quite like this one.12/21/2012 12:00:00 AM
