I have been dining here for so many years and come to always expect the consistant quality of their food and service. This event we were serviced by Angelina who was excellent with presenting the menu and specials in a very charming way. May not attract the same power house crowd it attracted years ago but it’s still great. Many classics remain on the menu and the quality is still outstanding. The service is impeccable and the food was even better.
To top it off we felt that it was very reasonably priced for what we ate.
I used to think this was a tourist attraction but I was wrong. It is a neighborhood gem for sure.
We loved our friendly bartender also. He recommended drinks for us that were fabulous.
This is a place where everything comes together. If we had to change one thing, it would be the decor.

It was excellent. Not a new place with innovative food, and a great alternative to that. (One small note-the wine pour was a little light.) All in all, a great time and a great evening. I don't cook with salt at home, so for me to have this comment speaks volumes. Just a little extra flavor in the sauce would have been great. My kids ate pasta and Ravioli, while I had the Veal Saltimboca. (I forget what my wife had). The Veal was excellent, and may have been the best Salimboca that I have eaten! The deserts were also very tasty.
Most importantly, the waitstaff and management treated us very well. The service was on point and friendly.

Franky the Bartender wasn't working on Friday evening, but Franky the server was and he was also a fantastic personality. I have now eaten here three times and all of them were out of the park. Th crab bisques was incredible and the Filet Moda keeps me coming back. I don't think that I have ever experienced a steak quite like this one.12/21/2012 12:00:00 AM
