Great restaurant to go for good food and quiet ambience after a screening at ATAS or movie at Laemle because it's right across the street! Highly recommend the garlic basil naan.

  • GOOD BUT SLOW

While the food is generally excellent, the service is not. Everyone is very polite and friendly but the service is far too slow for a restaurant that caters to TV Academy members who are timing meals to screenings and meetings across the street and theatre events down the block. One is willing to wait for a good meal, but drinks and water should be brought quickly to placate the impatient

Indian and Bangladesh restaurant serving delicious traditional favorites - tandoori, korma, masala, biryani, vindaloo, naan, plus more - with a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Open for lunch and dinner in the heart of No Ho, I was surprised to learn that Salomi had been serving since 1979. Portions are very generous and so flavorful. The attentive staff never hovers yet your glass is always quickly refilled and special requests are easily answered. Prices are very reasonable for table service menu this robust. A hidden gem, in plain sight on Lankershim.
