Ivan had some new signature drinks that we tried. Both were delicious. Our table was outside with a perfect view of the beach and up coming sunset. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our meal was excellent. I had the branzini, an absolutely delicious fish. My husband had the short ribs, also perfect. The chocolate mousse was great too. We went back the next night for another round of Ivan's drinks-different ones but also delicious. We had pasta dishes that were great. The sunset views are spectacular. The service was phenomenal, the atmosphere wonderful, and the food divine. They were so warm and caring and made our night even more special. The food presentation was exquisite. Our only complaint was the 2 girls wanted to share a Caesar Salad without the crab and we were charged $13 for each salad (more than the one with the crab). I know the difference in price probably only amounted to pennies, but the second time I emphasized Kir, not with Champagne. Chef Giuliano was on his game in spite of serving a gourmet meal to an over-the-top wedding with all the trimmings that took over part of the terrace overlooking the gulf. Definitely the place to go for either an elegant dinner in the beautiful and serene formal dining room, or on the terrance watching the sun set on the Gulf of Mexico. Resort casual dress is the rule either venue. The ambience, food, and service were all outstanding. The only unpleasant surprise was that the check came with an 18% gratuity automatically added; the waitperson hadn't mentioned it. Without checking, I added a 20% tip on the total. Fortunately, my wife commented that the bill seemed awfully high; as a result, I tore up the initial credit-card receipt and asked for another, on which I let the 18% gratuity stand.

We had a drink on the terrace before dinner to view the sunset! We were then promptly seated at 7:30. We decided to skip the appetizers and simply go for the the main course! I ordered the braised ribs which were to die for. The meat was tender and succulent. I was disappointed in the presentation however, as the ribs sat on approximately 1 teaspoon of mashed potatoes! My husband had stuffed Rigatoni with eggplant which was also very good! The wait staff is highly trained, and offer impeccable service. The food is amazing, and the menu offers just enough selections. The wine list has a nice selection of wines for afficionados. There is some great classic Italian pastas. We enjoyed the fresh fish selection served on the bone. The squash ravioli with browned butter, almond, and maple drizzle was one of the best dished I have had. The salad Misticanza is also very tasty. There is valet parking, and they take reservations. Sunset is the time to be there as it is an occasion. Most everyone goes out to the deck and watch it sizzle into the ocean. Everything about our evening was perfect. The restaurant staff was helpful, courteous and very professional. You can tell a lot goes into the service staff's training. They are there when you need them but not obtrusive. The food was fabulous and the view outstanding. The restaurant is over looking the ocean and has a gorgeous sunset. I would rate this as one of my top restaurants in the United States.

The decor is beautiful, ornate Italian, with fountains, columns, and statuary, and you feel like you could be in Tuscany. We dined outdoors on a terrace overlooking the ocean and it was romantic and beautiful. Service was top-notch, friendly and attentive.
