I have been to this restaurant several times. Every other visit was exceptional. This visit, not so much. the music was wrong. The food is different -- not bad, but not what it was. The service was either nonexistent or cloyingly over attentive in turns. I hope it was just an off night. But something definitely has changed here. Evn the music track was wrong.

Another great time at Salatino's. Feels like Francesca's grown-up older brother, dishes done with a little more style and a little more interesting. Seated right on time, selected a Jordan cabernet that seemed to be priced fairly. Several had the ravioli (and no bites were left), I had the rigatoni w/ peas and sausage, couldn't finish and made great leftovers. Finished off with a to-go pepperoni pizza for someone we were picking up at Midway- and it was delicious too.

Excellent! Southern Italian style cooking, plentiful pasta portions, meatballs like I make at home, and the menu had something for everyone. Comfortable, clean dining and bar areas. The restaurant is easy to find, but street parking is impossible due to the restricted parking in the area, so you are forced to valet park. The cost is $10, which I thought was much considering you had little to no options.

We lucked out on our first visit with a corner four-top near the front by the windows. Place was full and fairly loud on a Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. although one could still have a conversation without too much strain. Food was excellent, plentiful, and well-priced.
