I went on a friday night around 630 pm and the bar was really packed. The dining area is nice and cozy with open kitchen view. Food was fantastic! I had pulpo, jamon con pan, and their dates wrapped in bacon is always incredible. For entree my gfs and I had paella for 2 which fed probably 4 girls. It was delicious. I would definitely go back again!

This was our first time at Sala One Nine. The food, drinks and service were outstanding. The decor is weirdly eclectic, but pleasant. There is a noisy bar scene in the front, but the manager kindly seated us in the relatively quiet rear of the spacious room.

When someone in my party requested we go for Tapas - we decided to go to Sala One Nine and they did not let us down. Friendly service. The restaurant was not busy but it was a Sunday night. The food was great, the Cherizo, Octopus, Chicken, Lamb chops and dessert dishes were all wiped clean. I do wish I would have tried their cured ham that was explained to me by a waiter at the end of the meal. Wine selection was mainly Spanish.

Excellent service at every level, and I admit, I am hard to please when it comes to service. I always have something to say. Not here. The drinks were great. It was very loud for us. We expected a place that was a bit quieter many reviewers said the noise level was moderate. The atmosphere all around was really nice. The food was ok. Not spectacular. Maybe we didn't order the right things. I would go back if I was in the area for sure, but wouldn't make a special trip.

Excellent service, knowledgeable waiter. very reasonably priced wines.. all the food was great. tasty, different, fresh, authentic. Service can be just a bit slow, but just by a few minutes. Restaurant can (and goes) get very busy---it was packed from 7 until 10pm last Friday, so plan accordingly.

The food was interesting and amazing. Don't bother with entrees, get as many different tapas as you can. Also, unlike most restaurants, the bring them out 1 or 2 at a time so you don't feel rushed. Super friendly staff

Sala One Nine is a great spot. A good lunch selection of tapas and regular entrees (soups, salads, and sandwiches). Short but adequate list of wines by the glass and house-made desserts. The waiter could not have been nicer - offered us wine tastings and free coffee. The place was quiet but only a few tables were filled, hard to know what it would be like for dinner. The ambiance is charming, and authentically Spanish. Recommended.

We have been to this restaurant 2 times (in July and tonight) - this time with my 2 children (8 & 10) and my in laws (who are from Europe and travel to Spain often). The wait staff are attentive and know the menu. From the moment we walked in, they engaged my children from where to sit to what to eat. The kids tried new food items and loved it (as did the adults).

This was a wonderful restaurant. We arrived early (5:30) and were the only people dining, though there was a large crowd at the bar. The service was top-rate and the food was fantastic. My date, who has traveled to Spain several times, said the food was very authentic -- but more importantly, it was delicious. Highly recommended.

We got: dates wrapped in bacon, chorizo, shrimp sauteed in garlic oil, fried goat cheese, and the baked brie and ham toast. Everything was really good. The shrimp sauteed in garlic oil was recommended to us by the waiter - but i found it to be the least interesting of everything we ate. We had a reservation but had to wait about 40 mins for our table. We had a glass of wine at the bar. The host was very apologetic and gave us free wine.

The relaxed atmosphere combined with an amazing tapas menu and delicious Sangria makes me come back again and again. My friends and I come for happy hour and the food is amazing. The fried goat cheese with honey is the best I've had. The Sangria can get a lil watered down if it sits too long but it's reminiscent of the house wines in Barcelona. The staff is warm and inviting and you feel at home in a group or on an intimate date.

I went with co-workers this week and we sampled many of the tapas. I highly recommend: shrimp in garlic, fig wrapped in bacon, green salad and the prosciutto on bread. Everything we tried was excellent but these were the crowd favorites. Our waiter Pachito was very attentive and entertaining. I will go back on a Monday for the Flamenco show.

I never write reviews, but I love tapas and this was the worst food I have had. Their patatas bravas were okay. I got some shrimp toast thing that was so tasteless - it wasnt seasoned at all. We got grilled asparagus which was super oily and cost $12 (ridiculous). And they managed to serve bad fried goat cheese. I was shocked by their prices too. On top of it all they had live flamenco dancing in the bar area, which seemed cool but I could not hear my friend speaking at all - it was wayyyy too loud. Will definitely never dine here again.

The tapas at Sala One Nine are fantastic. The dates wrapped in bacon, the chorizo, and the stuffed mushrooms are fabulous. While the shrimp in garlic and oil and croquettes de jamon are not far behind. We also appreciated our server, who recommended the sherry flight as a dessert drink. Dates wrapped in bacon? Tasty and give me 3x more orders, check. There were tasty octopus dishes (soft and not rubbery), the serrano ham on crostini (a better version of bruschetta). Although super dark, so sometimes tough to see the food you eat, it was a tasty venue. Order the paella first as you sit down, it will take a while.
