Diner Reviews
  • "Needed a solid "forget about work troubles" dinner and Saki hit the spot. Our waiter was very good, knowledgable about the saki we ordered and sushi. Wasn't aware that some things weren't on the menu but thats okay. He seemed a little bit busy at first but another waitress came over to help him out so we never felt the back up. Our sushi choices were all delicious and the presentation and quality of the roll was as good as we could have hoped. We very much enjoyed talking to the host (GM?) as well. A wonderful, personable women who told us about the origin of the baby bottle pictures! Saki was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back."

  • "One of my top 5 spots in Provincetown for dining. If you like sake and/or sushi or Thai food, this place is a MUST. Great ambience--it's inside a re-puposed church building."

  • "We live in Provincetown and eat at Saki about once a week. We send all of our discriminating guests here. That pretty much says it all."

  • "Saki is a little hard to find: behind another restaurant past the Ben & Jerry's. The decor is great: huge paintings with marine and Japanese themes. The service is warm and friendly, and the waiters and sushi chefs remember you when you come back, which, in a tourist town, is rare. But what's most important is the food: the sushi is excellent. I live where I can get great sushi but, Saki's is amazing: so fresh and delicious. We got a couple of non-sushi appetizers were great. The one negative thing I would say is be very careful with the cocktails. Other than the mango one, the ones we've tried taste like medicine. Order your favorite drink instead, and you'll have a perfect time."

  • "We love Saki in P Town, Janet the hostess is the best and the entire staff if so wonderful. There is not a bad seat in the house and the decor is eclectic in its wonderment. The SUSHI is fresh, creative, and full of flavor!"

  • "I've now been to SAKI about half a dozen times and each time just gets better, if that's possible. Inventive sushi, yet, if you want traditional choices, they're here for you as well. Equality is the name of the game and they aim to please which they do 100%. Cape Cod is filled with restaurants, a good deal of them, as one would expect, are seafood. SAKI beats them all. The environment is nothing you would expect in Provincetown where space can be limited, and you'll probably have to ask someone how to get into this wonderful restaurant. Once you do, you're in for a treat because the food is spectacular. Artfully arranged, & beautifully presented. This is a MUST if you live in, or are visiting Provincetown. A bit pricey, but worth it!"

  • "My partner and I have been coming here for the past several years and will continue to for many years to come. From host Jan to plate after plate of sushi, nothing was less than perfect! When in town, run, don't walk, to this gem."

  • "Great Japanese restaurant with comfortable couches to sit in while eating. Very good sushi and sashimi. Outstanding wait staff and beautiful décor all housed in a beautiful church. Very noisy with screaming children just a few feet away ruining the atmosphere."

  • "Sushi options in Ptown are pretty limited. Knowing that, this place will do the trick. Food was good (not great) and drinks were pretty good. Service was acceptable but nothing stood out really."

  • "We had a great time at this restaurant. Colby (sp?) not only made great recommendations for us with the food but also with some of the nightlife and he kept us laughing throughout the night as well. The sushi presentation and flavors were delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was quite attractive and vibrant. Highly recommend."

  • "Saki is one of the best restaurants, of ANY kind, on Cape Cod. We've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The physical appearance of the restaurant's interior is unlike any other here with ultra-high ceilings and a cavernous feeling, comfortable booths around the room's perimeter and food that makes me want to jump in the car right now to repeat our selections from the other night. My ONLY complaint would be the sometimes intolerable noise level coming from a relaxed and excited crowd. Despite that....GO! You'll LOVE it!"

  • "One of Provincetown hidden gems. Food was delicious and the space is amazing."

  • "The space is big and lacking the intimacy found in a quality dining experience. The food was very average. Compared to other restaurants in Provincetown it was my least favorite."

  • "We came here to bring friends for dinner. We were welcomed with a friendly hug from Janet the hostess. The staff welcomed us too as we were seated. We had Alexis who was our server, yet he was assisted by another waiter and busboy. Drinks were good, but this time a little slow from the bar. But that was fine for us. We ordered and the food was delicious. We had the Tokyo Tower and an smoked baby octopus salad for appetizers. Yum! Our guest had the chicken lettuce wraps and they Loved it. Our guests ordered pad Thai and a sushi roll and we shared three special rolls. Everyone enjoyed them all. And when the final bill came it, we were pleasantly surprised how little it was! If you want something different, this should be it!"

  • "Delicious and fresh. Our host Kevin at the Fairbanks Inn recommended this place as one of the best restaurants in Provincetown to eat sushi! Such a good recommendation... gyozo, miso, bok choy were great starters. I had the baked scallop roll and the cherry blossom roll. "
