Edamame ravioli is a delicious
starter, as is the crispy calamari. Sushi is always top-notch. Service was a little slow, but that could be because we went on a Saturday night. Overall, a nice dining experience."

came for valentine's evening. It
was our first time there. arrived about a half hour before our reservation and sat at the bar to have a drink. Our bartender was friendly and their list of cocktails was more than adequate. I had a cold beer and my girlfriend enjoyed a well-made martini. server was friendly and patient despite being very busy that night. We had soups and calamari to start and both were delicious. It took a really long time for our sushi rolls to arrive (not surprising being a busy valentine's day though). The sushi rolls were definitely yummy, not the absolute best we've ever had, but we enjoyed them. we will probably come back again sometime especially given it's convenient location near one of our favorite beach spots."

The menu is full of creative rolls
that make you think twice. Though don't hesitate to venture out, every roll we tried was incredibly delicious."

We'd been here before, and it
continues to please. The house white wine was awful, but that could happen anywhere. Service was excellent and the meals were too."

First visit, Black Friday evening.
Great food and service. Only complaint, light level was too low to read their extensive menu. Follow the recommendations of the wait staff, they were all on-point!"

I dine here often with a large
group of friends and we're never disappointed..... The food is always served hot and fresh, the service is always polite and attentive. The manager (Kim) is always accommodating to anything you ask for. Would recommend Saketumi over any other Asian/Sushi restaurant in the area."
Dined on 11/29/2013
Food was excellent! No question!
However, the drinks were strong with alcohol. You get your money's worth."

Saketumi's brunch is bountiful--a
raw bar and sushi selection, hot dishes and dessert. There's something for everyone. The place is very comfortable and quiet so it's easy to talk."

Nicole our server was outstanding
nothing was too much treated us as if we were her only table"

We have eaten at Saketumi on
several occasions. Initially we looked on it as our go to place for Sushi which is by far and away the best in this part of the world. But recently we have also gone their for the chinese menu. Our family have lived for many years in the Far East especially Hong Kong so we have a very critical palate when we eat "Chinese". Most places have a very americanised take in order to please local palates. Saketumi is much closer to the real deal. The dishes were well presented with excellent spicing. I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the Orient as it should be!"

This restaurant is great! The food
is delicious, the service is good, and the drinks are tasty. You couldn't ask for more in a restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant."

Saketumi has consistently
excellent cuisine and is also great for take out. Service is always top notch and ambiance is welcoming. We are always delighted to spend a delicious evening at Saketumi!"
Dined on 10/13/2013
Food is always excellent! Much
more on the menu than Sushi. Reasonably priced and typically no waiting!"

Three foodies from NYC, Chicago
and Baltimore LOVED it! Girls' night out for my birthday. Saketumi is beautiful - in a surprising non-beachy way. Late September, we ate early, so, no loud crowds - so I can't comment on the in-season noise level. Food is BEAUTIFUL, delicious and the selection is extensive. Our waiter was adorable and made our experience! He was patient, attentive and helpful. The girls and I shared shared several sushi delights, the fish was fresh, delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. We also shared shrimp pad thai and general Tsao's chicken...yummy....the biggest surprise was dessert - and you must save room for it....chocolate creations that satisfied all of our senses. Go to Saketumi - in fact, go there TODAY!"

VERY varied menu, excellent for my
6 year old _ and she liked the sushi too. the lemongrass soup was beautiful as was the Kung Pao with peanuts. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next night. (not at all a thing we do when we only have two night at the beach, but it was too good and we wanted to try other items off the menu. (easy to book especially at the beach where its hard to get in when you want.. maybe that's because its on rte 1?) they were very nice and even saved us our same booth when they realised we were coming back through open table! what a nice touch!"

Very good food and presentation."

with a nice selection. Beautiful presentation."

My family (2 adults and 3 teens)
had a very nice time. We were seated right away, which is unusual around here, even with a reservation! The service was good, and the food was delicious. The coconut shrimp was my favorite thing, but I also really liked my entree, the Japanese eggplant with crispy tofu. Overall, a very good experience, and we will go back."
Dined on 8/22/2013
The food was delicious especially
the dim sum and the salt and pepper shrimp!!!"

We've eaten at Saketumi regularly
and taken various friends...everyone has always. Enjoyed the food and the place. A good bet!"

Saketumi never misses the mark. We
have dined several times and the food is always fresh, hot and filled with wonderful flavors. Service is always up to par and the special drinks are very creative. You won't go wrong with a meal at this restaurant."

Food was good. Service was fair.
The restaraunt had a sleek and modern look. Would try again."

Always a beach favorite. Good
service, nice atmosphere, great food."

This was our third meal at
Saketumi, and had a great time, once again. For other Open Table users: I said "kid friendly" because they are--but the kids need to like to try new and interesting foods and must be well-behaved to appreciate this place--it is elegant in atmosphere as well as meal choices."
Dined on 7/12/2013
Have eaten several times at this
pan Asian restaurant in the Coastal Highway leading to Rehoboth Beach, and never disappointed. Menu has a solid array of sushi, sashimi, and both regular and fancy rolls, plus a few selections of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes. There is a reasonable selection of Asian and domestic beers, sake, and several good wine choices."
Dined on 7/7/2013
We decided to try saketumi after
driving by for many years of trips to the beach. The sushi was great, very fresh, rolls were imaginative and delicious. Entrees were just okay. Service was attentive but kitchen was slow as mentioned in other reviews. We would go again but just stick to sushi."
Dined on 7/2/2013
It is one of the few spots in the
Rehoboth Beach area that has excellent Asian food!!"
Dined on 5/26/2013
Presently one of the best sushi
places I have eaten in North America! Unfortunately, the day we ate there, one of their chefs was out so they had to make do with a replacement. Consequently, the orders were backing up and the service was very slow. But when the food is good, one tends to overlook these things. We really enjoyed the sushi and the wine - maybe next time the service will also keep pace. This comment is no reflection on our server - she was very sweet and polite and did a very good job given the hand she was dealt that day with a slow kitchen. I would still recommend Saketumi to folks visiting Rehoboth Beach - it might just knock your socks off!"

We cannot count the number of
times we have been to Saketumi and are never disappointed. We also love the fact that they serve dinner late on weekends if you just are getting into town on a Friday night at 10:30PM. Service provided on this experience by James was outstanding. Each course that we had from sushi to lettuce wraps to soup/salad and finally entrees was beautifully served, very warm, and tasted great. Definitely a standout in Rehoboth."
Dined on 4/18/2013
It is always interesting were
great food restaurants are found up. The Sushi was excellent. Our waiter Nicole was very knowable and gave us some wonderful suggestions. We will be back again soon."
Dined on 4/20/2013
First time at Sunday Brunch and
was very pleased with quality of food and its feshness. The raw bar (enjoyed the shrimp (cooked to perfection and not frozen type) and oysters) and sushi were included. To top it off they offerred $3 bloody marys and mamosas! I will go back again!"
Dined on 4/21/2013
Was very disappointed because the
food was not up to the expectation. Our kids love Sushi and it was not good. The rice were hard and dry on Sushi. I think they charge for the decoration and service more than food."
Dined on 3/22/2013
Saketumi consistently offers a
wide array of choices for one to dine. The food is always presented very nicely portioned and with a flair. It is great to know they are one of the few places in Rehoboth that you can dine late and not feel rushed. The service was outstanding on our recent visit, attentive but not instrusive. From the sushi to the appetizers and finally to the entree, all choices were piping hot from the kitchen and had great flavors. We are never disappointed with our meal at Saketuni and can highly recommend it to others."
