"Love this restaurant since its inception. Food service and ambiance are good. The owner when there is a charming french gentleman who still kisses a lady's ahnd. I have recommended many people here business associates and friends."

"Saju Bistro is conveniently located in the theatre district and has that European charm which makes you feel like you are dining in France. In the nice weather, the large front doors open up to the sidewalk to bring in the feeling of outdoors. The menu has a wide variety to choose from and the food is delivered in a nice presentation. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We started with the Provencal vegetable soup "Pistou". For our principal plate we chose a boneless rabbit which was served in a large bowl with carrots, peas, freshly made gnocchi, all cooked together with a rosemary and wine reduction. The rabbit was very tender. Our meal was delicious and we will definitely return."

"Saju Bistro is a lovely little gem, with fine French food, in the very heart of the New York Theater District. The prices are quite affordable and the service is excellent. The goat cheese appetizer and the creme brulee dessert are top notch."

"Quite good ... a surprise given that its in the heart of the Times Square Tourist District and the Theatre District. We ate lunch there ... mussels were wonderful, and I finished off the the simply grilled sea bass. All over, good food. Service was only okay ... several times I wondered where my server was (and it was not busy), but this wasn't terrible ... only a bit less attentive than I would have liked."

"The food was excellent. We were a party of four for dinner and two days later we are still talking about the food: the salmon, the mixed seafood platter, and the pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage.The wine serving by the glass was more than generous. There is a limited selection, however, the choices are good.The desserts were really good. The three profiteroles and the generous portion of chocolate ice cream were both really good and easy to share. The restaurant is a short walk from Times Square and worth a visit. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner."

"Total tourist trap. I recently ate here after a matinee across the street, but before the pre theater rush and yet the service was terrible despite the lack of crowd. We had to keep asking for basics like a bread basket, silverware replacements when they took our dishes away and water refills. The food was awful and neither me nor my partner liked a single thing. The bread was stale, the soup bland and the entrees incredibly average."

"One of my favorite pre-theater spots -- better food than most in the theater district. They're good at getting you out in time without making you feel rushed. I keep thinking I'll try the $28 pre-theater prix fixe but something on the regular menu always tempts me away."
