I was looking to remember my favorite years in Paris and this was the ticket.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat eveningWe were entertaining friends from out of town and they couldn't stop telling us how
impressed they were with the restaurant---how wonderful the food was and thanked us
for making such a great choice6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Pre-theater findWe ate here before a Thursday night play and found the food excellent, service fast and accurate along with helpful waiter for menu choices and descriptions. The ambiance was very pleasant with an international flare and elegance. I would definitely recommend and eat here again. Prices were very reasonable for our 3 course meal with olives and bread served while you wait.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have eaten here many timesWe have eaten here many times before a show. This is the first time I was disappointed with the kitchen's pacing. People around us were served and we were waiting for our food and feeling rushed to eat it. The food was very good but we could not appreciate it due to the timing.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a Pleasant ExperienceI have been to Saju Bistro for brunch/lunch many times before going to see a matinee. It's a wonderful alternative to the other types of nearby places in the theater district. The atmosphere is comfortable and not loud, and the food and service are always very good. I highly recommend Saju.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMCharming BistroLovely place, serving good, fresh food at reasonable prices.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMOur group had a great time.Saju Bistro was a treat. Very pleasant atmosphere, welcoming service, delicious food. The apps were just okay, the entrees fabulous. Our waitress was attentive without being overbearing. We were encouraged to linger if we wanted to which was nice for our group of 7. We had a better conversation once people cleared out, it was noisy at times.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMvery accomodatingOur party ended up arriving at all different times for pre-theater dinner. Only one was there at time of reservation. Not only did they seat him but the wait staff and especially matre-de took great care to help us by timing the orders so that as people came so did their food and keeping meals warm for the stragglers. The staff turned what could have been a nightmare of bustled nerves and rushed eating into a seamless start to a wonderful evening. And to top it off the food was wonderful, well seasoned and beautifully served.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful findA terrific venue on all counts. It was a great decision. Owned by well know restaurateur Philippe Bernard (a terrific host), we sat at a lovely table by the open window, were afforded perfect service by all the staff, and savored authentic bistro fare. Whatever we asked for, the kitchen complied with, and, best yet, the bill was ultra reasonable. We will be back4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMTheatre district gemThe "neighborhood" is the heart of the theatre district--across the street from the Belasco and around the corner from the Imperial. The menu is Provençal. They have a pre fixe menu which you may have to ask for. Tell the waiter you have theatre tickets and they'll ensure you're out in time to make your curtain. Love their moules and brandade. The pistou is very good, as is the potato leek soup.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
