"Nice outdoor couches under heat lamps. They accomodated me for a birthday party with outdoor seating. The waitress was very good, nice, and took lots of photos for us! We all shared food. The ones I remember most were the lightly fried eggplant with an amazing spicey sauce, fried chicken with great seasonings and a side dish that tasted like jasmine and saffron almost like a rice croquette. I tried a lot of everything so I'd like to go back again and spend more time looking at the menu. No birthday cake but then again it's Japanese food! Only bad thing I could say is the young guy kind of told us to leave at the end but maybe we were lingering for too long..."

"If you're a sushi fan, you've got to check this place out. We're local and dine here probably three times a month. Outstanding sashimi, clever maki (sushi rolls), and great happy hour. Fresh, fresh, fresh seafood. Try the black cod appetizer -- out of this world. If dining on a Friday or Saturday evening, best to make reservations. They can get really busy. Servers are friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable."

"Very good, authentic Italian restaurant. The Risotto I had was fantastic. Only down side might be the size of the restaurant, its a little cramped (but then again I am 6'5) and the inside of the restaurant tends to be quite loud. The price was good, my girlfriend and I went there for lunch and only hit $40 for the both of us, minus tip."

"Everything on this menu is great, with special attention paid to the quality of fish and ingredients by the owner. If you're not in the mood for sushi, non fish selections are there too. Try the meatloaf, it's special, not the hamburger recipe from home, it defies description for being delicious. An outside table with a view of San Diego's downtown skyline makes for a nice dining experience that we will return to for sure."
