Went here for restaurant week with my husband and had a wonderful experience! Our server was friendly, attentive, but not too attentive to disrupt our date night! We had the following dishes: *Chickpea soup - FAR more flavorful than I was expecting Lobster Panzanella - Instead of dousing lobster with butter, they take the acidic route and it was great Arni Youvetsi - delish! and the wine pairing was AWESOME! (we ended up getting a second glass!) *Chicken Tagine - Tender meat and the sauce was wonderful *Pumpkin Barvarois - DELICIOUS. Would get it again and again Chocolate and almond baklava - A little dry and underwhelming. I put a * next to the courses I would get again. Thanks for a great night, Saffron!

Went to Saffron for restaurant week. The food was good and the wine pairings seemed appropriate. The noise level was such that our group of 5 could not carry on a group conversation. The beer selection was small, but the beers featured on draft were excellent, with a good backup list of bottles. The three courses were adequate to satisfy the average appetite.

We got together with a group of friends before the Fleetwood Mac concert. The service was wonderful and it is a great place to try new foods and to sample many dishes as a group if you order several Tapas and side dishes. I have eaten there before and the Tajines are wonderful too if you want to sample authentic Moroccan cuisine. Nice place to really enjoy a meal with friends and not feel rushed.

After beginning the meal with the delicious classic hummus, my party of four ordered 3 different entrees. Two were tagine dishes, one seafood and the other lamb. The seafood selection included scallops, mussels, clams and covino. A large chunk of lamb and seasonal vegetables made for a hearty tagine. Both tagines were prepared in tasty sauces that put the remaining pita bread to excellent use. The members of my party ordered the lamb chops. Three chops make this selection one where leftovers are nearly certain. We all compared them to the best chops that we have encountered anywhere.

The drinks, the food (seafood tagine was excellent!), and the service were all great. The owner even stopped by our table to see how we liked the food. I recommend this restaurant for those looking for a delightful and fun dining experience.

As a foodie, I want a dining experience unlike what I will cook at home. This restaurant hits the mark. We tried the lamb brain (which I'd recommend as it was perfectly cooked), the foi gras and figs, and the fried cauliflower (excellent tempura) as appitizers. Each slightly twisted from the norm with great flavor. We tried the lamb and seafood tergines which were uniqe but so close to comfort food. Warm, with plenty of meat and actually contained a great amount of vegetables. The bases in each went perfectly with the meats. The pita for sopping up the juice was a great accompanyment.

Waitress did an excellent job explaining the concept behind the menu and that it was best to focus on the sharing plates. Loved the concept. Our fave starters were the fried cauliflower and the croquettes. But my favourite menu item was the chicken entree. Who knew chicken could be so delicious. The ambience was beautifully suited to the middle eastern themed food. Romantic and exotic yet modern at the same time.

Shared small plates of suvee octopus, fried cauliflower, meatballs, really good hummus with Caramelized paprika butter. Main courses of tagine cooked veggies, duck meatballs and lamb in a spicy green chili (oh wow) were all great. We will be going again.

We've been here a few times and enjoyed each experience. The server is always helpful and is willing to suggest house favorites. I've also never felt bad for asking what a certain ingredient or dish even is. Our service started out great, but the server seem to get busier and we waited a while at the end of our meal for our check. But overall, a very nice experience with good food. Also, this isn't a kid-friendly place. And noise travels very easily within the restaurant.

Really enjoy Saffron and have been there twice. first time while at a conference in Minneapolis earlier this summer and was thrilled to return with my partner just this past week while traveling through Minn. The menu is creative with wonderful Middle Eastern type dishes. We loved the variety of hummus to try and lovely spices that were impeccably used on artichokes, eggplant and chanterelles that had been very recently foraged. We shared tapas like dishes as well as a main dish. The wait staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend Saffron for a small bite or a special dinner to remember.

We made a reservation mostly because the location was close to the stadium, and we were so happy with choice! The food was wonderful, and the server was very knowledgeable to help us make choices. The small plates for sharing were delicious. We really liked the fried cauliflower. The lamb chips was the big hit of the dinner entrees. The cappuccino was amazing and frothy, and it was perfect with the assorted traditional pastries.
