  • "A friend of mine and I decided to go here since neither of us had tried it before. Neither of us had lived in LA very long and decided that this seemed like a good place to try to get that down home feeling back. It definitely was. The entire staff was awesome. Particularly the manager Erick, our server Talya (probably chopped that...Sorry!) and bartender Rachael. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The mechanical bull also added some free entertainment as the riders are put up on the big screen. Even though it was a little crowded for my liking it was a great time and great food. I would definitely recommend it."

  • "We went for my sister's Bachelorette party and had a wonderful time. Food was good. Service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry so it was okay."

  • "This place is great, especially for birthday parties or other types of celebrations. I would reframe from bringing children after about 8/9 pm just because the bar scene gets very crowded, however it's a great place if you're looking for constant entertainment. The only downside is that it's somewhat expensive, but hey it's a famous spot in hollywood so what else would you expect?"

  • "I went here a few times a long time ago (when they first opened) and made it back again last week. It is still entertaining with the bull and all types of individuals trying to see how long they can last. We were there on a Friday and by the time we left, there was a pretty consistent line of riders. The food is okay. Not really a foodie location. I would call it touristy food. Split a ribeye entree (portions are overly large) and started with the spicy lettuce wraps. The wraps were surprisingly spicy and tasty. Even the lettuce leaves were large and good. I asked to sit near the bull and we got a great seat right along the pen. Our server, Nathan, was great."

  • "Great restaurant with lots of atmosphere......fun, fun, fun people!!! Employees are GREAT!!! Our waiter, James was THE BEST!!! It was the first time we had all been there and it was a blast.....one of us even rode the Bull!!! The food was great....drinks perfect and service was excellent. We enjoyed ourselves....even were serenaded by the "traveling duet" that sang a great rendition of Oasis' "Wonderfall".....it was a night to remember.....THANK YOU to the fabulous staff at Saddle Ranch Chop House!! We'll be back to play again!!!"

  • "We came here as the last dinner before my brother and niece left town. I'd been before and thought it'd be a fun atmosphere. It was that and so much more! They made my niece feel special from chatting directly to her, letting her sit on the bull for a picture and even surprising her with the cotton candy tower (though we also ordered s'mores...sugar overload!). Her face lit up and she couldn't stop talking about how this was her FAVORITE! The outdoor fire pit was a super fun way to finish dinner with the s'mores too! And the food portions were huge and delicious as always! A definite favorite to ensure happy kiddos and a fun visit for out of towner's!"

  • "Me & the Mrs. went to Saddle Ranch to celebrate our 8th anniversary and had a blast. The best part is the mechanical bull. All and all good food, drink & helpful staff. A must go to place for couples."

  • "This Saddle Ranch is located in WeHo. Conveniently right in front of the bus stop. We went for the bottomless brunch. The eggs benedict was delicious. The waitresses were friendly. However, it did take them a while to come around at times. The crowd was very fun and outgoing. They have a mechanical bull, which is very fun to ride. The mimosas are very good. This would be a great place for birthdays or reuniting with friends or any occassion where you wanna have fun."

  • "I was excited to not only try the food, but to ride the bull. I loved my salmon salad and guacamole and chips. The drinks were amazing as well. The drink that I got with the cotton candy around the rim for my birthday was perfect. I loved riding the bull and it was so much fun. I'm definitely going back!"

  • "The perfect place to come when you want to have fun with a group of friends. You can be loud, laugh, get your drink on and ride the bull. The staff here is great and they all come by to make sure you're enjoying your expereinces there. I can tell that since its on Sunset that they're use to getting a lot of out of towners because they ask "where are you from""

  • "Best 23rd Birthday Celebration! Food was great, the servers are very friendly and professional. Our group was about 23 people and everyone had a great time. Six of our guests where under the age of 15 years old and had a good time. Awes9me place to go for a group celebration or gathering."

  • "The food and aviance was great. This was our first time going to this restaurant. Our waiter was very busy and it was hard to get accomodated, but at least the manager was willing to step in to help. The manager filled our soda and water glasses when the waiter was busy. We also recieved complimentary dessert due to the delay as well. Saturday's are busy on every end of the universe so at least they made up for short comings. We will visit aain for sure!! :)"

  • "We saw the Saddle Ranch during our TMZ tour and it stuck in our mind because of the display outside the restaurant. On our last night in LA we wanted to go somewhere on Sunset for dinner but couldn't remember the name of the restaurant, so we looked through our pictures and found the Saddle Ranch. It was a perfect evening to sit outside on the patio. The service, food and entire experience was one that we'll never forget and will share with friends and family Winnipeg, Canada. Thanks for the memories : )"

  • "We were so impressed with Saddle Ranch Chop House. Sunset. Not only was the food outstanding, but management alternately circled the restaurant checking each table to ensure everything was going well. The table waiters/servers were outstanding, not only did they cover for each other but also made sure the courses came out well timed. We have been in many 5 star plus pricey restaurants , and most could not hold a candle to the service and attention the managers & servers showered on the tables. We are a little older than the average age that frequents the establishment , and we did not feel out of place for a minute."

  • "I've always loved this place. The Sunset Location beats all with it's view of the strip, and it's fire pits for s'mores. The service is very attentive and friendly. It's actually like you're being served by your friends!"

  • "The ambiance is what to come here for. Wild scene with tons of oeople, overcrowded really. But eat passable food while watching fools ride a mechanical bull!"

  • "The location on Sunset, has reasonable parking for the area $3.75. While noise level is high we were able to talk in our group. We tried multiple types of food everyone enjoyed it. We were seated with in 3 mins of our reservation time and food was quick. One error was made on a dish but it was replaced with in a heartbeat. The cotton candy is 3 feet high and place was fun. If you want you can ride a bull or just watch others. Be warned though noise level is very high if you want a quite place to go this is not the place for you. If you want fun good service and good foot this is the spot."

  • "Service was extremely slow, we waited about 1 hour for our orders to come. Food was very average, although the orders are big enough to share, except for steak."

  • "We like this place for the bottomless mimosas during brunch. The food was delicious, as always, and the portions huge. Our server was great, and even gave us a complimentary order of s'mores. The manager came by and checked on us and was very friendly, too. The only complaint I have is that it was cold inside the restaurant, so that I could never take my heavy coat off to get really comfortable. Otherwise, I really enjoy going here and will definitely be back. I posted pictures of the cotton candy tower on Facebook, and now have several girlfriends asking about going to brunch there."

  • "I have only been twice, but I absolutely love the Saddle Ranch Chop House. The folks that work there are genuinely warm people and enjoy chatting and getting to know you. Their cocktails are fantastic and the food is good too. The environment is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be coming back!"

  • "This is a fun brunch place, but we definitely went on the early side. We got there around 10:30 and by the time we were leaving, it seemed like the environment was greatly improving - more people there, people riding the bull, etc. But overall it was a great experience and our wait staff was wonderful!!! I loved the $10 Bloody Mary and mimosa option - it's great that you can try different flavors and even switch between Bloody Mary and mimosa if you want."

  • "One of our meals came back cold, sent it back, it and then it was not real hot. Very Loud Bar scene: if you like sports, this may be a great place to watch them. Otherwise it is extremely loud inside. We sat outside, which was much better. I would recomend this to a real sports fan."

  • "Had a birthday brunch there with a reservation for 8 people. They put us at a table that was for 5-6 people, and given how big their plates are, there was no way we would all fit. We were also crammed against the bar and kept getting bummed into. We asked the host stand 5 times to help us and asked if we could move, and we kept getting the run around and flat out ignored. No manager ever came over to check in or help. Finally after literally following the host around for 5 minutes, they moved us. They also got upset that we had 2 more people in our party (to make it 10) and seemed annoyed. Our server was great and totally made up for it. He was very friendly and made our time there worth it."
    Dined on 11/17/2013
  • "My initial experience with this place was unfavorable because some of the staff were not very helpful and rude. I was ignored for approximately 20 minutes while waiting to check-in. After seated, the waitress made the experience at the restaurant more pleasureable. Though some of the staff was rude, the overall experience was nice due to our server and the crowd."
    Dined on 11/9/2013
  • "This place is pretty much style over substance, everything is for show but when you get past that its a very average place. We got seated on a table near the bar which ment we had people just standing around our table while we ate, not great when you want to enjoy your meal. Beware when you order your server will give you options but will not explain they cost extra. All in all pretty poor, we were in and out in 45 minutes as we could wait to get out of there"

  • "We had an excellent night at the Saddle Ranch, the staff were all really helpful and our waiter for the night 'Levi' was very attentive throughout the evening, even though it was very busy on the Friday night we went there. We managed to get a seat overlooking the bull and really enjoyed the view and the fun as people went up to try have a go on it. The atmosphere, staff service, all get 5 stars and the food was good too! Highly recommended for a fun night out on Sunset Strip"

  • "Saddle Ranch was an excellent dining experience. I want to give 4.5 stars where I gave 4s. The portions were above average but I wouldn't expect anything less for a steak and bbq joint. We decided to order the steamed vegetables just to change it up from all the potato and heavy options we've already been having. The vegetable quality was sub-par. The portion was just really tiny compared to everything else including 1 broccoli floret and oversteamed zucchini/squash. Other than that, the ribs were very tender, the jalapeno mac and cheese taste and texture were good and the pre-meal breads were freshly baked and tasty. Our server had to go on break but our replacement wasn't very attentive. Management was cool and super nice though!"

  • "Didn't touch my salad or appetizer the waiter just picked up our full plates didn't ask of everything was ok drinks empty the entire meal had to go to bar out of my seat. I was so upset I wasted such a special night there had to flag my waiter for a check we got 15 minutes later left a note for a manger on the table and watched the waiter crumble it up walking out. Got better prices for drinks and attention at the Mexican hole in the wall down the street I felt awful my boyfriend didn't have a good birthday"

  • "A lot of choice, good sides. Service was good. Atmosphere great (sportsbar - steakhouse- rodeo). It was noisy and busy, a bit to much for a romantic dinner for 2. My steak was great, the new york steak of my partner was a bit pale. We have an allergy to garlic (not a practical allergy - and it's a severe one), and asked if it was without any and that could be arranged. they didn't do any garlic / rub on the streak & fries & sauce, but there was a lot of it on the vegetables. But this seems an all-american issue not only to the saddle ranch :p overall nice food, good atmosphere, bit expensive but I would recommend"
