SaborNo complaints here, very enjoyable!Great overall experience. It is a nice space, small but not tiny. Only beer and wine. It can get loud but I didn’t find it distracting. We were given a mini caprese appetizer. Pretty good. The rolls/hummus were very very good. We ordered the oysters and spring rolls. Oysters were very fresh. The spring rolls were great and a healthy portion with a peanut sauce, sweet chili and soy. Really liked the sweet chili and soy not so much the peanut sauce but it wasn’t bad. Main course it was scallops over crab risotto, and braised pork shank over white bean and tomato type base. The shank was very tender. There didn’t seem to be much flavoring going on with it but I wouldn’t call it bland. Scallops could not have been any better nor the risotto5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMMore SaborWe have been to Sabor a number of times and never been disappointed. Small, intimate location provides a romantic setting. Food is always tasty and intriguing. Favorites; assorted amuse bouche, corn & crab bisque, spring rolls, beets, tenderloin. Service is outstanding, professional and friendly! Even fun to dine at the bar and watch the kitchen scene. A small gem! Try it, you'll love it!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth a trip to PlymouthIf you're not in the immediate area, and you'd like to be a little off the beaten path, go to this restaurant in downtown Plymouth. We were here for a nearby show happening later in the evening. Found this place on Open Table and was lured by the reviews. We were not disappointed. Our meals were excellent. My soup (potato and leek) was delicious. Everyone's salads were great. The main courses were wonderful. Couldn't stay for desert this time, but maybe next time. I highly recommend this place.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBest paella since Spain!First timer at Sabor Saturday night for 4 of us. Great spot - great food, great service. My paella was truly the best I've had this side of the Atlantic. I'd definitely recommend Sabor. All four of us were very happy with the experience.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMPlymouth's storefront gemWe've been to Sabor a number of times and have been pleased each time. This past Saturday, one of the evening specials was paella and we all ordered it. The portion was quite generous and each of the seafood components was delicious and perfectly cooked; the sausage gave it a nice bite. One of the great things about Sabor is its wine list - an eclectic, well thought out selection and reasonably priced. Finally, I can't say enough about the service here. The staff is definitely a team; they all work hard and couldn't be more professional.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMNice little restaurant in PlymouthBrought out of town visitors to dinner here as we had heard very good things about it. We did enjoy the restaurant, service was excellent, the wine was very good and the food was very good as well. Not great. None of us were blown away, but that being said, it was a nice night out and we will probably return, but it is not the 'special occasion' place that I had thought it was.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMIncredible food!!!!! GREAT choicesSo many great choices, I wanted it all !!! Server very helpful in helping me make a choice.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMPleaseant surroundings, goodPleaseant surroundings, good service and great food. What more could you ask for? Pesto crusted Salmon was cooked to perfection with fresh herbs served over Risotto. Husband had the pork entree and it was a HUGE serving, very nicely prepared ragout. Took our servers suggestion for a nice bottle of wine and we were not disappointed.
Don't miss the fabulous desserts, crem brulee was superb and the 3 tier choclate mousse cake was light and divine. Wish we lived closer!!!4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat little restaurantGreat little restaurant.
I have been many times and never disappointed.
On this visit their fryer set off the fire alarm and it added a little excitement to the evening. Couldn't get their great frites but their risotto is also very god.
Would definitely recommend.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food and excellentWonderful food and excellent service. Highly recommended!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMNever FailsThis restaurant never fails. Whatever I order, evening specials or from the regular menu, I know the food will be fresh and top quality.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great dinner at SaborWe just finished our fourth meal at Sabor. We're new to the area and were happy to find this restaurant. Food is consistently very good - appetizers, vegetables, meat and desserts. It's wonderful to find a good variety of wine with reasonably priced selections. (I never understand why some restaurants with entrees in the $25 range have wines mostly priced $50++ ; Sabor got this right! You can have the expensive wines if you want them, but there are many good selections priced less.) The impression is that everyone who works here is passionate about food and the restaurant. The streetside location is attractive; inside we listened to Spanish/latin themed music - yet still able to have a conversation. We'll be back - many times.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was a brilliant restaurantThis was a brilliant restaurant that was a pleasant surprise. The quality of the food was superb. All the food including the amuse bouche appetizers, the main course and the dessert were excellent. The service prompt and friendly. The atmosphere relaxed and quiet enough to have a decent conversation without screaming. Overall, an amazing dining experience. My compliments to the chef and staff. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThere are not enough superlativesThere are not enough superlatives to do Sabor justice. It was wonderful. Definitely the best restaurant on the South Shore.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMBetter than most Boston spots!Great food and service. The only negative comment is when I ordered an entree, I was then told it was sold out, too bad that it wasn't mentioned when the specials were described.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
