  • "Great food, great service, a little louder than I would have liked (other tables) but usually love the ambiance! "

  • "A wonderful surprise in Plymouth; the chef really knows what he's doing. We had two different scallop dishes, large scallops with crab meat risotto and baby scallops, pesto and pasta. Both were out of this world. The starter mesclun salad was flavorful, crisp and lightly dressed. The chocolate ganache, nutella confection we chose for dessert is light ,rich, and creamy smooth. Pastry of that quality is rare. The service is attentive and friendly- a very comfortable place. The chef goes to every table at some point help serve, too. It's like dining at the home of a friend. Be sure to make reservations; there are only about 10-12 tables and small bar."

  • "Wonderful restaurant. We were second in the restaurant. The third couple seated next to us were told they ran out of the special, which was swordfish. Even if all three in the other party ordered it (I didn't, but my partner did), could they have had only four servings of the special? It seems odd. Other than that, awe had a lovely time. This was our fourth time there, so clearly we love the restaurant."

  • "I'd been looking forward to trying this restaurant for some time and unfortunately I'm walking away with no desire to return. Service was very slow and the food was disappointing. The ceviche was not really ceviche, it was more like a crudo. My steak was over done and tough. There are plenty of places in the area I would recommend before this place...Solstice, Ember, Roobar, New World Tavern ..."

  • "Everything was delicious but also on the more expensive side. There limited wine selections under $12/glass and the least expensive bottle was around $30. I brought my boyfriend for his birthday and the total meal (2 apps, 2 entrees, 4 glasses of wine) came to just under $150.00 (including tip) for just the two of us. We will go back, but only for special occasions."

  • "I brought my sister here for a Valentine's Dinner Friday night after reading many reviews raving about this place. We were definitely not disappointed. We had a table reservation but decided to sit at the bar instead. Bar stools were so comfortable and it was nice being able to see into the kitchen and watch the cooks prepare the dishes. The service was OK, but it took forever for us to order and get drinks/bread. Good wine list, with a $30 bottle selection that can't be beat. I got the scallops and crabmeat risotto special, which was outstanding, and my sister got the steak frites, which was a little overcooked. Overall it was a nice experience, I would come back again."

  • "An old friend and and I sought a reunion dinner that had great food and an atmosphere where we could talk and actually hear each other. Our dinner at Sabor was a memorable event on all levels. The food was fabulous and the service the best in a long time. The elegant touches such as the sample taster and the hummus and wonderful bread were rare in today's dining experience. We ordered a glass of wine and were served a generous portion unlike many upscale restaurants that provide a measured dribble. Can't wait to go back with my husband and friends."

  • "Sabor is outstanding, from the time you’re greeted at the door; the help is impeccable when selecting your wine, making your selection for dinner and dessert to walking out the door. The staff, Maryann and Melani are both gems, who will help navigate you through your wine and dinner selection. Vinnie and his staff in the kitchen do an outstanding job."

  • "My family returned to Sabor for a farewell dinner for my son who was returning to college. I had made a mistake with our party number on line, but the staff were accommodating, and made up a table quickly. The wait staff were helpful with food choices, and very friendly. • "Have been going to Sabor for over three years and every time I go there have never had a bad experience. The food has been consistently outstanding. Melani and Maryann know their wine, they are the best waitstaff around!"

  • "Food was excellent as we had been told. Service was superior and demonstrated customer focused approach. Wine list was also outstanding. Will definitely return to Sabor. We both had the scallop special; scallops were well prepared and seasoning was delicious as was crab risotto. Vegetables were fresh and crunchy. Bread served prior to dinner was particularly wonderful. Lovely dinning experience. Wine and beer license only - wine list quite comprehensive"

  • "This was my first time at Sabor and I cannot wait to go back! Our server Melanie was a professional full of knowledge. She told us about wines "off the list" and we were thrilled. She recommended a fantastic wine for us and we loved it. The menu is small but they have lots of specials. We ordered a combination of appetizers and entrees from the menu and from the specials. All of the food was delicious. Sobor does everything right. The service is what makes this restaurant extra special. Thank you Melanie and all of the staff of Sabor! You all made us so happy and gave us a most memorable experience."

  • "Food and service were outstanding as usual. Paired our meals with a great Cab recommended by our waitress. Wife and I really enjoy Sabor. Sabor is the best restaurant in Plymouth - especially for foodies..."

  • "This was our first visit to Sabor which was recommended by a friend. The waitress said it was unusually busy for a Wednesday evening and she was the only waitress working. Despite this, the service was excellent. The restaurant is very small so reservations are highly recommended. The atmosphere is cozy but not crowded. The menu is very limited and some of the entres are rather expensive but we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the butternut squash ravioli and my friend had rack of lamb. Both were nicely presented and delicious. The surprise was a complimentary hot toddy made with apple cider and apple butter! I would definitely return both for the food and the atmosphere."

  • "I was told about Sabor by a few friends and finally I got there for dinner. It was a delicious meal with wonderful wine and service.it lived up to everything I was told about it. I highly recommend going for dinner."

  • "This was our second visit to Sabor and we left, again, wondering why we don't go more often. The menu is not extensive -- rather, it is excellent quality food made to order. Local ingredients. Fresh. Lots of care & attention to detail goes into each plate. From the amuse bouche, to the carafe of water and sliced lemon to our spectacular salads, entrees, and even dessert (one plate split many ways!). My only issues, truly, was that the open concept kitchen can actually make the space very warm and that the small space can make for a loud evening if you're seated next to a boisterous group. Neither was enough to bother my dining enjoyment, though. I savored each bite, as did my dinner guests!"

  • "Wanting to have a nice birthday dinner with my twin sister and not being familiar with the restaurants of Plymouth Massachusetts I was thrilled to come across some good recommendations for Sabor on Yelp and Open Table. The reviews fell short on just how nice this restaurant is: exceptional service, great food with the freshest ingredients and a room that remained quite and intimate even as the tables filled with happy dinners. I will most certainly eat here again on my next visit to Plymouth."

  • "Sabor is a special occasion place for us - mainly b/c of it's prices (high for Plymouth). Food was good, as always, but menu could use some updates - it's been same for years. Some portions very large - would like less meat more veggies. Limited vegetarian options. Desserts great."
