When Jim & Jill Brandt decided to open the Napa General Store they wanted to create a casual space that reflected the history of the building that they had rescued along the banks of the Napa River.
It was important to them that the Napa General Store was authentic in every detail, and that includes making their cornmeal pancakes from scratch, squeezing oranges for juice and using local farm-raised eggs for breakfast.
Their hearts told them that if they put together the friendliest staff in Napa, and treated guests like they were home, that good things would follow.
