Chef Eugen prepares organic and local ingredients when available, with a great many dishes made in-house. Traditional favorites are served such as hamburgers, Mac n Cheese, house made sausages and unique Fondue choices, but it doesn’t end there. There are many options for vegetarians and gluten free diets such as GF Gnocchi. For brunch, Kaiserschmarrn, which was originally prepared for the Kaiser, can be enjoyed along with our gluten free roasted yam waffle with ground clove served with maple or ginger syrup. Another healthy and delicious option is our vegan rice flour waffle served with agave lavender syrup.
As you enter HEARTH the senses kick in. Beautiful aromas come from the food that emerges out of the fire in front of you: steaks and pork chops, ribs and chicken, local oysters and salmon, and of course great pizza, all of it kissed by the fire in the wood oven.
HEARTH is a wonderful dining experience, surrounded by fine craftsmanship with service that is attentive and friendly. Our menu provides options for dining ranging from small plates during HEARTH Hour (4pm-6pm) to entrees including daily specials such as Tourenados of Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon and fresh sage with chimichurri sauce, roasted vegetables and potatoes. Vegetarian and gluten free entrees are available. There is also a great selection of local wines and beers as well as a full bar.
HEARTH features outdoor dining during the summer months and underground parking during the rainy months.
It’s a great place to come with friends and family and enjoy another HEARTH warming experience.
Oregon Electric Station, also know as OES, had first opened on October 15, 1912, headlining local newspapers declaring it to be "The greatest day in the history of Eugene." We are excited to share our love and passion for great food and hospitality while you enjoy the beauty of this historical landmark. Our dishes are inspired by locally sourced organic products and influenced by our culinary experience around the world while our hospitality is expressed through our century old knowledge of the restaurant business. Our desire is that, as it happened on October 15 1912, you will walk out of here saying, “This was the greatest day in the history of my culinary experience” and then say…. OH YESSSSS to OES!
