Chef Eugen prepares organic and local ingredients when available, with a great many dishes made in-house. Traditional favorites are served such as hamburgers, Mac n Cheese, house made sausages and unique Fondue choices, but it doesn’t end there. There are many options for vegetarians and gluten free diets such as GF Gnocchi. For brunch, Kaiserschmarrn, which was originally prepared for the Kaiser, can be enjoyed along with our gluten free roasted yam waffle with ground clove served with maple or ginger syrup. Another healthy and delicious option is our vegan rice flour waffle served with agave lavender syrup.

The inspiration behind Cerulean in the Pearl was a Bistro in Paris or a Caffe in Florence - a place to enjoy good friends, good food, and good wine. Cerulean serves a seasonal menu, which will change occasionally as our chef makes new finds at the Farmers Market each weekend. We use local and organic products as much as possible, which complement Cerulean's wines made from the owner's organic vineyards. In addition to wine, we serve beer and cocktails. We also serve Sunday Brunch 9am-3pm. Cerulean features multiple seating areas with couches perfect for meeting friends, intimate tables for sampling food and wine, and 12 seats at the 30-foot long, beautiful bamboo and steel tasting bar, as well as open air seating during warmer months in Portland.
