Inspired by the historic Student Art League of New York, Flatiron Hall's decor features original paintings and sketches from another era. Guests enter past a wall of old elevator doors to enter a dining room with furnishings and artifacts dating back 100 years. With seating for 125 and a 35’ antique bar dating from 1870 in our upstairs dining room, the downstairs Beer Hall seats 150 guests at communal tables. Our Beer Hall features a requisite 8’ television screen which rolls down for big games.
Resto, French slang for casual restaurant, opened its doors in April 2007. The concept of a laid back neighborhood gathering place with approachable Belgian food in the style of New York, was created by the owner, Christian Pappanicholas. Resto has become a destination in Gramercy Park/Murray Hill for a delicious dinner, weekend brunch or a late night bite. The knowledgeable and friendly staff is well versed in the extensive Belgian beer list and the thoughtful wine list which focuses on a selection of French, Italian and Spanish wines. Boulevard 18 Bistro and Wine Bar is a neighborhood restaurant on Main Street in the village of New Canaan CT. The menu is comprised of bistro classics, with our own unique twists. Everything from the frites to the 3 types of sausages, pâté, gravlax, pickles, duck confit and desserts including the ice cream and sorbet are made in-house. As many ingredients as possible are organic, sustainable and locally sourced.
We give the wine list the same attention. Wines are selected for quality and value with an excellent representation of major regions in France. We feature 20+ wines by the glass, a selection of craft-brewed beer and a full bar, featuring artisanal spirits and cocktails with fresh juices and herbs, and house-made infusions.
The beautiful room, in burgundy and dark wood is highlighted by an antique wall sized map of Paris. The custom-made zinc topped bar seats 15. Guests may sit at comfortable banquettes, at the zinc bar, counter or high-top communal table.
