First of all, the greeter at the door was very friendly and welcoming as she seated us at our table. Secondly, we had a very attentive and excellent waiter (Todd). One of the persons at the table has food allergies and Todd made a special effort (along with the chef) to make sure the meal met all the qualifications for the diner's health needs. And last, but certainly not least, the food was absolutely fabulous!! We had the experience we wanted and left there feeling happy and content! This restaurant was the perfect place for us to take our time in ordering and talking. We were never rushed and the food was perfectly prepared (and we modified the menu selections and everything was done correctly). The waitress was attentive to our needs and the timing of the courses was perfect. As always, the food was delectable, we all tried different dishes and no one was disappointed. Their wine list, even by the glass has something for everyone. Ambiance and decor are fine, rustic Italian, especially the beautiful reclaimed wood floors. Our table was ready with no delay and the wait staff is attentive. Someone as nice and thoughtful as him just makes the dining experience that much more special.

Waiter extremely friendly and attentive. I had heard mixed reviews about the service there including people had had dined as recently as a few weeks prior. While the restaurant was about half full, we had just the right amount of checking back, including refilling bread, olives, water etc. The timing of the courses was well paced.
Each of us at the table ordered prix fixe - and it was a real deal. THe food was excellent and the portions were very filling. One of our party cannot eat sugar and the waiter immediately suggested he could do a fresh fruit substitute.
