The decor is upscale and very pleasant. The staff really make you feel welcome. We felt special in terms of the friendly and respectful service, the top notch food (crab cakes appitizer, rib eye and filet for our entrees, and perfectly prepared creamed spinach and asparagus. My wine was great, and my husband's Manhattan was mixed just the way he liked it. The waiter came back often enough to make sure we were doing well, but was never intrusive.

It may have been because of the location of this Ruth's Chris, but I was really disappointed in the extremely California Casual attire worn by many of the diners and that it's permitted by the restaurant management. The wall was diaganal behind me and if I used my bread plate I'd hit my elbow against the wall. So we moved. The waiter was not very attentive, kept us waiting so long we asked for the check before he had a chance to offer dessert.
But, the food was, as always, amazing! I also tried the pear mint julep. It was very strong, and I liked the flair of the metal cup.3/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
