  • "No complaints, everything was great. Sides are large so be careful not to order too much. Ordered a side of lobster macaroni and cheese and it was large enough for a full meal alone. Brought as much food home as we ate. Service a little slow, but the restaurant was packed--not an empty table. We were off to the back and side of the room so the noise level was a little less. Always ask for a table in a corner."

  • "There was a bit of a gap in time between our salads and our entrees, but the place was slammed as it was prime time on a Saturday night, so not surprising. Everything was delicious with the exception of our donut-sized onion rings. Half of them arrived overcooked, but the problem was corrected immediately and we were brought two to replace the two we sent back. The filet was phenomenal as you would expect, but my husband had the lamb, and after tasting his, I wish I had ordered that instead! Our server was a gem. I'd go back."

WHile our waiter was nice no attention was paid to checking on our table or apologizing for an hour wait to be served. From the start it appeared that our order was placed incorrectly as the temperature of a steak was confirmed for a steak we did not order."

  • "When I made the reservation, I noted that we were celebrating my daughter's 10th Birthday. It seemed as though every employee read the note, as each of them wished her a Happy Birthday, decorated the table with birthday confetti, and dressed up her dessert plate by writing "Happy Birthday" in chocolate. They made her feel very special. The food was very good. The reason it isn't marked "Outstanding" is that my husband's and my filet were overcooked. We ordered them Medium, but they were Medium Well. Other than that, everything else was terrific."

Portions were smaller and choices more limited than regular menu (obviously); but, the quality of the meal did not suffer and was nothing short of amazing. Didn't walk away with left-overs; however, were comfortably full without feeling like we over-indulged. Will make this a regular stop during restaurant week and perhaps for a very special occasion as well."

  • "Did not know what to expect during restaurant week and we were all pleasantly surprised with an excellent 3 course meal with great choices. Since the food was so amazing, I can overlook the service glitches and still give an overall 5 star review. Unfortunately, the food delivery and timing was slow. The waiters, in general, did not pay careful attention to the tables and when I wanted to walk back from the bathroom, they stood in my way and I had to ask them politely to move so they need better training. Does not matter, this was the best steak that I have had in Westchester. We will return."

  • "We are RC regulars... Every Anniversary, Birthday, Just Because Date Night.. We are there! Restaurant week is no exception. It's an awesome opportunity to take advantage of the Delicious Food.. and a High Quality Establishment.. for a low price. Very Affordable! Restaurant Week is your chance to have it all. :-). Our ONLY gripe was that they ran out of stuffed chicken.. :-(... The manager took Exceptional Care of us.. and he was very friendly and sincere about it with my wife - who can be a tough one - as she is also a Chef in NYC. However, in true Ruth's Chris style... the food was phenomenal when it hit the table.. and desserts and beverages were everything that our "just because" weekend away needed."

  • "Four of us went for Restaurant Week and had a wonderful dinner. Everything was great: food, atmosphere and service. The seafood gumbo was well seasoned and chock full of seafood. The salad was nothing special. The steak was perfect: prepared as ordered, juicy, tender and flavorful. The sides of garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were just right. The spinach tasted like spinach and not nutmeg, as is often the case in other places. The dessert of whiskey bread pudding was just okay. I was surprised there was no choice for dessert. Our waiter was fine, explained how the steaks are cooked and seasoned, and kept us refilled with water and then coffee."

  • "Went on Restaurant Week for lunch. Surprisingly very quiet with only a handful of tables occupied. In spite of this, service was slow and waiter we had seemed inexperienced. When we asked for wine said "would you like red, white or rose" - only brought out wine list when asked - Good we did since wine list was quite extensive. The food we had was good; - no complaints, however, we asked for coffee which did not arrive some time after dessert was served, and only after asking another waiter. This sometimes happens - service level drops in proportion to number of guests dining. One more thing - I know its a steakhouse, but the ambiance could use a livelier new look and updating."

  • "I am almost walked out as the hostess a tall woman with short black hair was so rude, literally eye rolling. I had a 7:15 recervation that the restaurant confirmed earlier in the day. I arrived at 7:12 and was told there would be at least a 15 to 20 minute delay. I said really, even after your confirmation? She rolled her eyes and said, we can't predict how long people sit at tables. I wanted to say seriously, this is your answer, this is your business. As a senior executive in a company, I have a big issue with this attitude, it is akin to Do Not Shoot The Mesenger!!!!"

  • "Just went on a Sunday night for a spontaneous date night, and the food was very good! Ribeye was a little fatty even though thats the cut of meat I hoped for a little less chew, but flavor was exceptional and cooked perfectly! Waiter however was a different story, took us over 2 hours to eat and we only ordered 1 app, 1 drink each and 1 dessert so he didnt even have to do much, and was missing for 20-25 min at a time. Would definitely go back again because the food is great, and the wine was great too. Just dont go if you cant afford it because the food is very very pricey, and dont go if you're in a rush, they will keep you a while!"

  • "Could not always get waiter's attention and when my ordered medium rare steak came out medium well, I had to flag down someone else. Meanwhile, my companion ate his entire dinner in the time it came to get my steak redone. And then it came out without the side ordered. No real apology from waiter who seemed unaffected when told given that correction had been made. At the end, maitre d' happened by to see if all was well. When told story, he offered a dessert. But that was really too little, too late as we had already shared a dessert. Not my first time here. Will go again. But do expect better attention and better attitude when paying these prices."
