For example, a salad was ordered with dressing on the side and came its it all over the salad. Coffee was ordered and one person ordered ice cream. The ice cream was delivered 10 minutes after the coffee and the coffee served was not hot.

But what was worse, was that we were seated by the noisy galley area.
This is unusual for Ruth's, since we generally we have a excellent experience. The waiter made up for his response time by bringing us free desserts to take home, which I very much appreciated.

Steve, our server, was both gracious and efficient, as was the entire staff. Never an empty water glass or a wait for dishes to be removed. We all had the mixed grill, which was delicious. A small, but ample serving of chicken, a filet, and crab cake. They were all as good, if not better than any we have had anywhere. The desserts were fantastic as well. We had the key lime pie and chocolate sin cake. It honestly was, though (Broccoli au Gratin). The cheese was perfectly crunchy around the sides and creamy underneath. Green beans and mashed potatoes were beyond perfect, and my fiance seemed infatuated with the filet. Dom was our server for the night and he was everything a restaurant waiter should be- visible and accommodating, but not overbearing. He was professional, he came up at the right times without being obnoxious, and whenever our conversation paused, I noticed that he was always nearby and he would have been easily accessible if we ever did find that we needed his attention (even though we didn't). Her greeting was warm and geniune. It made us feel we were in the right place. The server Luke introduced himself, took our drink orders, and gave us time to digest what he told us about the memu and to look over the menus ourselves. He returned, took our orders and brought our starters. He gave us ample time to eat the very delicious food.Which left nothing to be desired. Everything was prepared as we ordered. Chris was our waiter and he made sure that we were taken care of and left alone all at the same time. Food was great. The wood paneled room was quiet and intimate.
