The service is excellent! The steak is just perfect to the taste! We tried the Prime Early Dining Menu and no regrets! Just the side orders are too much for us to finish, but no problem - can take it home. My husband and I really had a good first time experience in this restaurant and it really served the purpose of us celebrating our 34th anniversary! I personally like that my steak comes out on a sizzling plate of butter though. Definitely not something you can do very frequently without your cholesterol going up, but its a great treat occasionally. We got the petit filets (8 oz), some creamed spinach and the sweet potato casserole. Everything was delicious and portions were very large. Definitely eat lightly at lunch if you go for dinner as its a gut-busting meal. The only thing that was bit of a let-down was dessert - we got the key lime pie but it didn't have enough key lime flavor. We partially paid for our meal with gift certificates and were told although it was not written anywhere that only one gift certificate per person would be excepted. If the restaurant is going to sell gift certificates they need to except gift certificates for the payment of a meal.If they are going to discount gift certificates that is a promotional decision by the company and they have to stand behind what they sell. We left with a bad feeling about this. Will be going back once a year but no more often as a result of this error on their part.

The food, well it is Ruth Chris and it was exceptional! steaks were perfect, mushrooms perfect, salad (cesar) yes it was excellent as well. I try many places for the fun and variety of it and as you might guess, it is hit and miss. In general, Ruth's Chris in any city is a reliable 'go to' because I just know it is going to be at least 'good' and sometimes 'great'. This particular one is among the best. The food is typically great and the waitstaff are always friendly yet efficient. I recall only one time having a problem with an order (a friend felt his steak was over-cooked) and they didn't hesitate to get a new one going and delivered within what seemed like moments. Most of the time I think my Ruth's Chris' experience is a B+ or A.
