Our first visit, my wife and I really enjoyed the ambiance (plus food/service), but this second time, I felt like I was sitting in a banquet hall. Though the food was still good and the service was as well, I was underwhelmed by the private section of the restaurant. We always get the stuffed chicken breast and this one kicks it up a knotch on the cheese, it oozes from the chicken when you cut into it. It's phenomenal. Granted, the steaks are always great too, but if you haven't tried the chicken yet give it a shot! food was seared and broiled to perfection. The appetizers and sides were also great and our server was very friendly. The only "complaint" was that the dessert menu didn't have much of a selection. The dining room is beautiful with private booths conducive to conversation. The service was impeccable. Our steaks were very good but heavily seasoned with salt and pepper. My lobster was overcooked. I had the crab cakes and I was disappointed in them- they tasted very fishy. The menu could use a few more fish offerings for those that don't eat red meat.
The salads that we tried and the tuna appetiizer were very good. With drink and desert, the final bill was just as we planned. Despite of short notice, they made a special personalized menu for our table. Everyone serving at our table seemed to know that it was our anniversary. I'm very impressed. The steak cooked perfectly. Really really good. Side dishes are good, but not that wonderful. The bar serves very good drinks here. I ordered a cocktail, which was very tasty and pretty.My husband ordered a glass of wheat beer, whixh was in perfect temp and form & liquid balance. This seems to be easy, but not many places give us this level of satisfaction.

I had the green bean casserole which was good but it should have been called mushroom casserole. I am not an mushroom lover so it was a little disappointing to find more mushrooms than green beans. Raspberry sorbet was fantastic!

They make it special - our reservations were on Open Table so I stated it we were celebrating a 3oth birthday. The hostess, our waiter and the manager wished birthday greetings to our guest. The menus were specially printed with birthday girls name and birthday greetings. The dessert we ordered Creme Brulee had Happy 30th Birthday written in chocolate on the dessert plate. The service was top notch and the meal delectable. By far, our most favorite restaurant. What they do to a dinner plate with butter before placing a steak for serving is absolutely amazing, hands down. This visit was a smidge heavy handed with the spinkle of pepper seasoning, but still very, very good. Side portions are still large enough to share except maybe the salads...but that is just my impression; we're big salad eaters. Our server was great; our meal paced perfectly and even a delightful dessert sampler surprise to celebrate our anniversary. On top of the fact that everything we ordered was DELICIOUS, the service went way above and beyond. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. They hostess presented us with menus that had been personalized to wish our son a "Happy 18th Birthday". Everyone from the server to the manager to the table busser took excellent care of us and wished him happy birthday and made him feel special. At the end of dinner he received a beautiful dessert with another birthday wish on the plate as well as a hand written birthday card from the server and the restaurant manager and they presented him with his personalized menu as a keepsake. The menu ($44 ea) included lobster bisque or Ceasar salad or a mixed greens salad - 4 choides for entree, a side dish, and dessert (only one choice on dessert...bummer). Parking - terrible. Had to drive around forever to find a spot. Not sure what they charge for valet, but on a really cold night worth it. Our server, Gina C was fabulous. Friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Lobster bisque creamy with lots of lobster and sherry! Filets were great. Sweet Potato casserole was like dessert and creamed spinach yummy. Dessert was a chocolate mousse cheesecake - light and a perfect end. Too rich for my blood - can probably only afford during restaurant week.
