Our server was amazing, so knowledgable, but not boring! The good was amazing like always. I would definitely recommend coming here for a special occasion!"

  • "The steaks were fantastic and the calamari was the BEST I have had in a long time. The service was excellent. The only reason I did a 4/5 on the food was that the asparagus wasn't worth the price they were charging. I just felt I could have done a lot better at home. I would do 4.5/5 if I could, but that those prices, you just have to be held to a higher standard. I would recommend this place to anyone for a special occasion. It was very enjoyable."

  • "My husband and I are "foodies", so we haven't been that curious/anxious to try Ruth's Chris Steak House . . .steak is steak, right? But finally gave it a try, based on reviews from friends. Pricey, but very high quality. I had the filet mignon, my husband the ribeye . . . .prepared perfectly, sizzling hot, prime beef. Had calamari as an appetizer, accompanied the steaks with au gratin potatoes and an order of mushrooms, finished dinner with the Lava Cake for dessert. ALL were exquisitely prepared and served by a lovely, attentive wait staff member who treated us very well. We "wanted" for nothing; service was prompt, but unhurried . . .gracious and well timed. Beautiful ambience. We plan to return."

Not that the hostess will stop me from dining at RCSH, but it was surprising for such a restaurant to have a staff member like this on their team. Alexandra was neither acknowledging nor welcoming which doesn't meet the definition of hostess. On the other hand, Eli, our server, was amazing and made our dining experience superb."

  • "My wife and i have been eating at Ruth's over 25 years and always enjoyed it. In recent years we've gone in less because we always had the exact same thing, all good, just a set meal. On the last visit we decided to try something completely different. We split a large filet, an entre size order of crab cakes, spinach and a baked potato. Every dish was amazing, allowed us much more to try and enhanced our meal 100%. Only took 25 years to figure it out as they've added many new dishes. We'll be returning much more often now. The food is all great and of course the steaks are incomparable."

I heard others being asked when they came in if they were celebrating and if it was their anniversary they spread rose petals on the table. We never got that. When we left there were still unoccupied booths. It seemed the hostess we got just couldn't be bothered. It was a bad start to the dinner. The food and wait staff were excellent. "

The potatoes au graten are a must have! I tell everyone that is going that's never been it will be the best you've ever had. I get no argument afterwards. Top Notch every time!"

  • "We wouldn't have come here but for two generous gift cards. We both agreed the filet mignon was the best we've ever had. The crab appetizer was delicious as was the Choclate Sin Cake. Great wine list and hand crafted cocktails. Our vegetable sides were asparagus with hollandaise and sauteed baby spinach, neither of which were remarkable. I am very sensitive to gluten and so the server gave me the gluten free menu to choose from which always makes the decision making so much easier. Although out of our price range, it is an experience we were very happy to have had and highly recommmend it. "

  • "We went to Ruth Chris for a birthday dinner and had a great experience. The service was good, but the food was beyond good. We all had the filet and you can't say enough good things about the quality of the meat. My husband said the cesar salad was the best he had ever had. The onion rings were the size of donuts and the scallop potatos totally yummy. The only thing not wonderful was the cost of the meal. Don't go if you have a light wallet. But if you want a wonderful dinner you can't go wrong here. "

You can cut the steak with a butter knife, that's how tender it is. We tried the sweet potato pie and it was amazing, with a little bit of sweetness on top. Yum!! This is our new favorite place. "

She also treated us with the utmost respect, as we are non drinkers and don't always have such a positive experience with that topic. We were also given a booth as requested, unlike our experience on New Year's Eve. Our reservations were unexpectantly reduced to 2 from 4, and there was no judgement from any restaurant employees. Thank you."

Steaks good compared to other popular steak houses; maybe not outstanding because others have stepped up their game as Ruth's Chris used to be head & shoulders above all others similar to Morton's. I would question the value of the steaks based on just food quality. Our server Daniel & restaurant's décor helped increase the value perception though. Sides were as usual; nothing out of the ordinary. Five of us ordered steaks which were good & one ordered the Chilean Sea Bass....not very impressive & as a result of it's very fishy taste, did not offer the value expected. Daniel was superb with his help in celebrating our special occasion & he was the bright spot in our visit."

I have made similar comments for reservations at other restaurants, and the other restaurants made no comment or acknowledgement of the special occasion. When we arrived at Ruth's Chris, the hostess immediately said "Happy Anniversary," which set the tone for a wonderful evening. We were seated at a booth in a very private back corner, with rose petals scattered on the table. The servers were attentive, friendly and made many gestures of acknowledging our anniversary. Our dessert was presented on a plate decorated with chocolate writing "Happy Anniversary." I think we have found our new special occasion restaurant."

  • "I ordered a Filet Mignon cooked Medium, and it was delivered completely Rare so it had to be sent back to the kitchen for cooking. By the time I received my Filet, my husband was done with his entree. Some date night out huh? These guys cook steaks every day of the week so this should not happen but because it did happen, I think the right thing for this caliber restaurant to do is to either discount the entree, take it off the bill, or offer free dessert. . .some kind of "we're sorry" compensation, especially since my Filet was $45!"
