Ruth's Chris Steak House - PrincetonWe were treated like royalty. We were treated like royalty. It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary. From the front desk to the waiter, assistant to the waiter, we were pampered by all of them.
We've been there several times and have always been more than satisfied.
The food is cooked to perfection.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrationWe went to Ruth's to celebrate my birthday. The food was outstanding. We were greeted not only by the reception desk but also by the manager. It is not our first time there and the manager knew our attendance history and particularly when and for what we dined there. The only thing that we found disappointing was the actual services. The poor busboy as well as the waiter seemed to have too much to do. In fact, the busboy was the one to notice that things were not as they should be at our table and went to inform the waiter, who was busy with too many other diners. We love Ruth's Chris and will definitely be dining there again but I think this experience should be noted.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent ServiceNino and his wine and food suggestions are excellent5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMlambFor a change, get the lamb chops medium!!! best kept secret on the menu. they're big, buttery and not too gamey. i'm not even a lamb guy.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday DinnerHad a great time celebrating my 36th birthday here with some of my girls. The atomsphere was excellent and what a great added plus that since they knew I was celebrating my birthday they decorated the table with confetti. I was so shocked and happy that they did that for me. My steak was so good, and to my own surprise I didn't use steak sauce on it. The icing on the cake for me was as a birthday gift to me they comped my dessert and on the plate of my chocolate cake I selected they wrote "Happy Birthday" in chocolate sauce with a candle in my cake. Great evening and the service was just as great! Slightly pricey but I will return!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMPorterhouse for 2....perfectlyPorterhouse for 2....perfectly cooked. How do they make those broiled tomatores? Great wine choices but you have to spend $100 a bottle.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMI was surprisedLiving near NYC, there is no shortage of great steak house options. So going to a chain like Ruth's Chris, I was not expecting much, however to my surprise it was a very excellent experience all around.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great dinnerOur server Jon suggested a lobster stuffed with crab meat as an appetizer and it came out perfect. Steaks and sides were delicious. The prefix menu is a great value. This is my go to steakhouse on Central NJ and they have never disappointed me.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great night out atAnother great night out at our favorite restaurant........K5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were told that the steaksWe were told that the steaks were cooked with butter, salt ,pepper sounded good but when eating it was way too salty. I highly recommend have the steak cooked without the butter,salt4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe steaks were, as usual,The steaks were, as usual, superb cuts of meat and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, and the pace of the meal was exactly what we wanted. Service gets dinged a point because they stopped pouring the wine after our first glass, leaving us with empty glasses until well after the main course was served. It's a minor issue, but at Ruth's Chris we expect better.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThis location does not carryThis location does not carry the banana cream pie that other locations have and that was a disappointment; otherwise it was exactly what you expect from a Ruth's Chris.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and service wereThe food and service were excellent as always. We went for my husband's birthday and the decorated the table without my asking. It was a very nice touch. My husband also received a dessert on them.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFood outstanding, Service iffyOutstanding food in all respects. However, service, while friendly, was poorly paced. It took too long for drinks (and one of the orders wasn't correct)and then the main courses came out before we had finished our appetizers. At these prices, everything should be close to perfect. Finally, some effort to enforce a reasonable dress code should be put in place. Torn tee shirts, cut off jeans and flip flops should not be acceptable.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice, but very expensive.Very nice, but very expensive. While we enjoyed it, it wasn't worth the price we paid.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMPositively changed my mind...We had an exquisite meal. Everything from my request for a rose to be left on my table for our arrival, to the excellent service by Jessi. She was instrumental from our food choices and also providing recommendations about Princeton. I hesitated to go to RC because of an experience I had years back. However, we are definitely going to be back with our friends. I highly recommend this restaurant and certainly Jessi.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMEven An All Star Has An Off DayI will say I always love it here, but I was a little surprised that the service was lacking compared to what we are used to. The happy hour has become busy, I just hope the bartenders can keep up and not get overly distracted with conversations with the regulars. Empty glasses aren't good.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently good food andConsistently good food and outstanding service! You always know what you will get when you eat here!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are regulars at Ruth ChrisWe are regulars at Ruth Chris because we love their amazing filet and the service is great! We brought our daughters along this time and our server, Jon made sure they were well taken care of. He cut my older daughters filet and had the chef make my younger daughter home made mac and cheese that was delicious! The only thing that I was disappointed with, having not ordered apple juice at Ruth Chris before was that my daughters has 2 glasses of juice at $4 each!! That's really outrageous! We just got home from Disney and even they sell juice for less! I know that Ruth Chris is an expensive meal and we're always willing to spend but $16 on apple juice? They'll be having water next time!!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service. GreatExcellent service. Great food and wide selection of wines. Highly recommend for a nice dinner out or a special occasion.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAs you would expect the steaksAs you would expect the steaks were excellent - done medium rare as requested. The side dishes provide just enough variety to create a wonderful meal. In this case, the potatoes au gratin and the asparagus with hollandaise were great accompaniments! The chocolate cake dessert was very moist. It did not really require the ice cream.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMRuth's Chris is a favoriteRuth's Chris is a favorite of ours and we celebrate all of our family and friends b days there because the food is consistent and delicious! The service is top notch! Anyone who hasn't eaten at Ruth's Chris are missing out!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMAlmost worth the priceSteak at Ruth's Chris is ALWAYS Very Good. That is the only reason why I give them $60 for a steak. Much of that has as much to do with the way it is prepared (butter, salt, high temp) as opposed to the quality of the meat.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was exquisite andThe food was exquisite and the ambiance perfectionist for my wife's bir.thday dinner3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is excellent, ambianceFood is excellent, ambiance is very nice, but service is incredibly slow. I've been here twice and service was painfully slow both times. This last time, it took a half an hour for someone to greet us and we received our bottle of wine after appetizers were finished. I would still recommend. Food is not to be missed.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
