- Always wonderfulOpenTable Diner Since 2009Dined on 8/27/2014We took clients here this week, and we were not disappointed.Special Features:
- Celebrating a birthdaymedearestDined on 8/23/2014Neither of us had been to a Ruth ' s Chris Steakhouse, but we will definitely go back. The food & service were impeccable. Had a great dining experience & the very picky birthday guy enjoyed himself immensely.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- excellent foodOpenTable Diner Since 2014Dined on 8/23/2014The food is delicious every time we've been to Ruth's Chris. The only negfative is the specials are way to pricey.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- A night on the townPattivecchDined on 8/23/2014Went back to princeton for a reunion, got in a day early and stopped in to Ruth's crist steak house.we were not dissapointed from beginning to end.the staff was very attentive and genuinely cared how we were enjoying dinner.the manager also stopped by to c that a good time was had by all, really enjoyed it.Special Features:
- great food, but need to change...sancteeVIPDined on 8/22/2014Food was awsome, but the reception desk girls were rude and unkind.... But it was the same in Chicago and Mexico City.Special Features:
- Great FoodEdamameDined on 8/17/2014The food was great, price fixed and a la carte. The service was nice. He gave my brother a small dessert, just so he didn't feel left out given that everyone else had a dessert. The only bone to pick was that we had to get their attention to get our water glasses filled. I would definitely go there again when I'm in the mood for a good steak dinner.Special Features:
- DisappointedgckcDined on 8/17/2014Not what we remember. Appetizer was rushed. Filet was not center cut & lacked the signature Ruth's Chris butter flavor.
- OpenTable Diner Since 2004Dined on 8/16/2014Nice wine list. Apps were delicious. Porterhouse for two and potatos au gratin were a bit of a let-down, just not up to standards. We've had a better dining experience at the Ruth's Chris in Atlantic City, NJ than in Princeton.Special Features:
- Great Service - Great FoodRalphVIPDined on 8/16/2014Always a pleasure coming to Ruth's Chris Princeton. Nino, our waiter, treats us like family, makes sure everything is perfect and always recommends the best wine and food.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Ruth's Chris Princeton wonderfulOllieDined on 8/8/2014Fantastic anniversary dinner at this restaurant. Food was exceptional as was the service provided by Pradeep. He was warm, sincere and welcoming; going above and beyond to ensure a beautiful evening and memory. The management's added touches of providing us the most romantic table as well as a complimentary anniversary photo and dessert were a thoughtful plus.Special Features:
- Good foodfoodie615Dined on 7/30/2014This was my first visit to Ruth's Chris and I really enjoyed my meal of steak and shrimp. My only complaint was that the food took way too long to arrive. Luckily, I was traveling on business and didn't have any time constraints that evening. Otherwise, it was a good experience.Special Features:
- OpenTable Diner Since 2008Dined on 7/26/2014Always guaranteed a consistent high quality meal and experience ! Only downside is that it has gotten increasingly pricey .I would recommend this to a friend.
- Daughter's 20th Birthday dinnerRonniesMateDined on 7/23/2014In a Country where Steak/Grill restaurants are plentiful this in my opinion is First Class, & in a different class. The greeting is calm but professional; the tables are well positioned; the menu always interesting & the food great. Best of all is the Service; on both visits our Waiter was on top of everything without being intrusive. My Daughter's Birthday was topped with a beautifully prepared dessert with candle & Birthday wishes. Excellent value for that Special Occasion.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Much better than last timeweluvsteakVIPDined on 7/23/2014The food and service were much better than last time - they got the steaks right (last time they were way off on the correct temperature) so it was a really good dining experience. Only negative was when it came time to leave - our waiter and his assistant disappeared for about 15 minutes and we had to gt the manager to get the check.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Best steak everNicholasVIPDined on 7/19/2014We had a great time at Princeton's Ruth Chris , food was fresh and served perfectly. Our waiter Pradeed was both attentive and knew how all food items were prepared. Too bad we live so far away.Special Features:
- Just OK and getting disappointing.JoeMVIPDined on 7/19/2014I've been to this Ruth's Chris on several occasion, the last before now about a year ago. It had always been good but has seemed to decline both in food and service. We were four in our party and we each ordered steak and sides. Two of the four were underdone (medium rare instead of medium well) and had to be sent back, which always messes the rhythm of the meal with two people half done before the others start. The sides were MUCH smaller than ever and hardly "family style" for sharing. At $400 for 4 steaks, 3 small sides two Mojioto's, and an iced tea, this wasn't a good value. Our waiter Rob was nice but seemed very new. I have to think very hard before I go back. I get a much better meal and service at Capital Grille.Special Features:
- Food not prepared as requestedDMacDined on 7/16/2014My filet was overcooked. They accommodated us by taking the item off our bill.
- Therocket18Dined on 7/12/2014Very poor inattentive service. Very dissapointing. Very slow felt like we were not even there.Special Features:
- reserveVIPDined on 7/10/2014It is always a pleasure to dine at Ruth Chris @ Princeton. Nino our waiter is the best!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- First time visitOpenTable Diner Since 2007Dined on 7/10/2014Steak was outstanding. Spinach and lamb chop a little too salty, especially the spinach.Special Features:
- OpenTable Diner Since 2006Dined on 7/8/2014We did a lot of waiting. Server seemed uninterestedSpecial Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- great timeOpenTable Diner Since 2010VIPDined on 7/5/2014As expected we all had a terrific time, good and service were impeccable.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- ScottDined on 6/28/2014I have an issue with the quality of the steak as well as the size of the steak. If I'm paying $20 for a ribeye I would expect the steak might have some large chunks of grizzle and I would expect the cook to wing it on cutting the steaks to size however if I'm paying $60 I expect the meat to be trimmed perfectly, prepaired perfectly and actually be 22 ounces. And there is no reason for a filet to be dry at med rare. I'm not the kind of person to make a stink so I didn't say anything. I do enjoy Atlantic city location and I recommend princeton takes some lessons from the Atlantic city location. This is my 3 rd visit and every time unsatisfied. I will no longer be going to Princeton Ruth Chris. I feel I wasted my money.
- Good good close to the hotelChilifeverDined on 6/26/2014We ate there because it was convenient and close to the hotel. the staff was awesome and accomodating for our 2-year old.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Ruth's ChrisSizzlingDined on 6/16/2014The food was great, the service was great. Waiter was attentive - knew the name of our party before he approached the table. Very helpful with selections. First Class all the way. Expensive - about $300 for family of four, a couple of drinks, including tips. Great for a special occasionSpecial Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- JerseyGoogie1Dined on 5/31/2014We live in Richmond so the Jeresy location was an experience for us. The service and food were excellent. The interior was a little tired and seems to be in need of a refresh or light renovation. The decor seemed tired. It would have also been nice if the other diners weren't all in jeans and t shirts. We were shocked by the casual attire of the other guests. The employees seemed very pleasant and very proactive with all of the guests. You can tell there are great people that care working there.Special Features:
- A Princeton Steakhouse Fit For NYC!MrCrabtreeVIPDined on 5/31/2014The server and his assistant were very attentive. We changed our table to a booth and it was no problem! The drinks were excellent. The Dirty Goose Martini was awesome. Wines were great! The Crabtini appy was delicious! The Porterhouse for Two was done to perfection. We added a couple of 5 oz. Lobster Tails for an extra punch! All good!!! For sides, we had the Lobster Mac and Cheese which was excellent, and as we always do at steakhouses, we had the Creamed Spinach... Not great... It was a little plain and a tad too watery... Don't get me wrong, we finished the spinach, and it was certainly good. Topped it all off with the Bread Pudding and Apple Crisp desserts, and they were amazing! I definitely recommend this restaurant!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- FredFredDined on 5/24/2014The food and service are always outstanding here. Unfortunately, this time there was a gentleman sitting by us dressed like a slob with flip - flops on that he took off and was eating barefoot. How about a tiny little bit of dress requirement on a Saturday night. We were told it was a corporately owned Ruths Chris and they were told not to say anything about dress code issues. Come on.....really.I would recommend this to a friend.
- OK Steak PlaceReynaldoVIPDined on 5/24/2014The food is Good ,though they should tone down the use of Butter. Though the cost is high, they do not rank with the Best Steak HousesSpecial Features:
- Great place to dine!Mjackso3Dined on 5/21/2014Food was perfect. Ambiance was unmatcheable!! I loved it and will definitely be back!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great experienceNancyVIPDined on 5/18/2014We made reservation to celebrate a family members fiftieth birthday. It was a perfect evening. The meal was outstanding, service perfect to detail and our servers were warm and friendly I highly recommend this RC location and I will be back.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- ConsistencyNickDined on 5/11/2014This place is great food is consistently good time and time again service is on point and a family favorite...if there's anything to celebrate we do it at ruths Chris!!!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Mother's Day DinnerDaymondawgVIPDined on 5/11/2014Had a wonderful dining experience at Ruth Chris the other night. The food was great and the service was top notch.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Excellent!TifflifeDined on 5/10/2014Although pricier than some steak houses there is a reason for it. I go for the filet which comes on a hot plate with the sound of sizzling herb butter as it comes from the kitchen. My favorite filet thus far! I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a pre fix menu available with a dessert substitution for just $4 more. It's been a number since my last visit when I had the filet and at a different location and years later it was just as a remembered. Can't wait to go back and treat my husband for Father's Day.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great food, bad serviceFoodie35VIPDined on 5/10/2014Dinner for 4 was great, everyone enjoyed their meal a lot. Our server, however, was bad. Surprising because they pride themselves on service. Our server forgot our appetizer, then forgot it again after we told him and he had it served with our dinner. After our dinner was over we waited at least 15 min before we got our check or were asked if we wanted dessert and that was only after we told the bus person to tell out waiter we wanted out check. I will go back, but I will make sure Ed is not our server.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- OpenTable Diner Since 2012VIPDined on 5/9/2014Nino's wine recommendation was outstanding a - again!

- Predictably gooddwilson608VIPDined on 4/25/2014We were celebrating a birthday and went to Ruth's at the request of the birthday boy. He was pleased particularly with the birthday candle in his raspberry sorbet. The food and service was predictably good. I find the wine list very pricey but the selection decent for domestic wines.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- I Like Ruth Chris but ...stillsatisfiedbutVIPDined on 4/22/2014I Like Ruth Chris but the menu is getting old and the quality of the meat is going down. RC's needs dining specials.
- Awesome food and serviceprestoDined on 4/20/2014Tables are too high in the booths. Or the seats are too low. We felt like we needed booster seats. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Shrimp cocktail was fresh, and lobster appetizer was delicious.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
