Luckily, we had a $100 gift card, but that didn't even cover it, and by the time we finished, it was almost another $100. We did leave a nice tip for our waiter, which was more deserved than the amount spent on the food itself.
I have enjoyed excellent steaks in more reasonably priced restaurants. Clearly, this is a place for the wealthy upper class, not the middle class working man and woman. The sides are large enough to share, We enjoyed the outdoor bar on the pier and the bartenders were attentive and made some great cocktails. The rose petals on the table were a nice touch so be sure to let the restaurant know if you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFun, relaxing Friday night dinner!We came to Ruth's Chris on a Friday at 7:00 p.m. to eat dinner out on their outdoor deck area next to the water at Pier Five. They had live music playing on the deck, and the weather was gorgeous. What a great place to have a few martinis to wind down from work. Our steaks, sides, and salads were amazing as always. Ruth's Chris filet mignon always tops the other local steakhouses in my opinion. I love that it also has a somewhat casual atmosphere compared to say The Prime Rib.
