Our only beef (pardon the pun) is that our Porterhouse for two felt like a Porterhouse for one. The portions were small. Either Houston's or Arroyo Chop house, the latter being higher scale. Ruth's is a the answer for a good steak, the meat was tender, delicious. The serving and the style is so similar to the Chop house even the prices. I preferred this one as the other one is dark and I prefer windows and light.
Our waiter was so friendly and knowledgeable, the hostess has a nice smile with pleasant welcoming face.

It was our second time (we went there for Valentine's and liked it so much, we returned). The people were very attentive and accommodating. Our waiter, Gary, also served us at Valentine's; he remembered on what occasion we first came (I couldn't even remember) and where we sat. The food was exceptional (my husband got the cowboy steak and I chose the rib eye on the prix fixe menu). We were treated to creme brulee on a square plate with "Happy Anniversary" spelled out in chocolate, along with chocolate cheesecake and dark chocolate almond clusters...really good! and 2 glasses of champagne. The steaks are simply the best anywhere, they are the measure against which we judge other steakhouses. Our favorite server, Nicole N, was there which made our dining experience even better!
