Our waiter was very personable and made us feel very comfortable. He made sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. The food came quick and the steaks were done to our satisfaction. We loved the ambience. The wine list was average. Although, I was satified with the selection recommended. I was immediately seated at a table with a beautiful view of the golf course! The ambience theme was "Paddock-Horse" style with a bronze horse statue in the reception area. A covered entrance protected diners from any possible weather elements. Ordering the petite filet paired with a lobster tail, sautéed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, a California merlot made my dinner perfection! Dessert: bread pudding laced and covered with whiskey cream. My friend ordered the filet, and banana cream pie crusted over with a propane canister burn similar to that of a crème bruele. The dining experience at Ruth's Chris is the best part of the trip. The food and service are excellent. The gumbo, house salad, and fries were fair. But, the rest of the meal was excellent. Great flavor and cooked just right.
