We were there to celebrate our 21st anniversary, so I would have rather sat out of the bar area in a quieter area. BUT we made reservations at the last minute, so that may have been all they had. The bar area was just almost too loud for us to talk.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a great experienceWe had a wonderful experience at Ruth Chris .They asked if we were celebrating anything and we said an anniversary ,so they put rose petals on our table and several of the staff came by periodiaclly and said happy anniversry and even though our meal included a small dessert they gave us our pick of desserts for free for our anniversary.They sat us at a table in the bar and there was a man singing and playing keyborad.He was fantastic his music was our generation and that made it even more enjoyable.We plan on coming back often.Especially for their monday night lights they have going on .You get a 3 course meal for $30.Wasnt turning out to be a great anniversary but the Staff at Ruth Chris northside of indy made it out to be wonderful.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMThe wait staff and managementThe wait staff and management were great. I don't eat a lot of red meat, but when I do, it has to be outstanding. Ruth's Chris is my first choice for a petite filet in Indy. I asked them to hold the butter that they typically serve the steak with and did not miss it at all. It was cooked perfectly; each bite melted in my mouth. They also accommodated my request to sauté the spinach and mushrooms in olive oil instead of butter.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGo for the steakI prefer the layout of the downtown Indianapolis Ruth's Chris over the North side because it seems to have more privacy and better ambiance. My husband and I both had the Northside Nights menu with 6oz and 8oz filets. The steak was flavorful, delicious, moist, juicy, and perfectly amazing. The salad, sides, and dessert are okay, but the steak was definitely worth the $30 by itself. I had a glass of the Red Knot Shiraz, which paired perfectly with the steak. This restaurant provides wonderfully prepared food on a consistent basis. It is our favorite place in Indianapolis to dine.
