"My wife and I went here for seafood. I had the soup of the day and the fresh whole lobster and my wife had the shrimp. Both were very good. This was my birthday celebration, and the waiter provided a birthday desert without being asked, a mini chocolate "sin" cake, which was delicious. The only slightly off-note to a great dinner was my mediocre capuchino."

"The night was very enjoyable but the two odd things happened. One they kept switching waiters on us all night. We had three different waiters which does't really matter but they make a big deal of introducing your waiter and then we never even got that one. The other thing was I asked to switch from our first table because we were sitting by a big group and it was loud and I said I was looking for somewhere quieter. They switched us to a room that within ten minutes was filled with large parties so was even louder."

"steaks cooked wrong. but no one said anything at the table. 2 of asked for med rare and got rare/rare red center. after recooking at home, steak was tender. My husband did not get the special, his cowboy steak was ordered med rare and it was med well. Mashed potatoes were soupy as was cream spinich. So not worth it! There are better steak houses in the suburbs for far less money, warmer service and friendlier atmosphere. If we had gone alone instead of with others the meals would have been sent back. After 2 less than stellar visits here, we won't be back. We liked the downtown location but have not been there this year. Hopefully it's just this location that is mediocre."

"The food was delicious, but not "superb". One of the steaks was not prepared to specifications. The service was OK - they were not very attentive - they showed up every once in a while. At the beginning they took all our drink orders and walked away totally missing one of our guests. The Maitre D completely ignored our request to sit at a particular servers area - we were very unhappy about that and were not about to ask to be moved once we were seated. Coat check left before the last guest departed and we had to retrieve our own coats - tacky"
