Or waiter was very friendly and informative and it was also very nice to see the manager on the floor helping out with a very friendly smile on her face.   • "This was my first dining experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House - Mississauga, and I did not leave disappointed. Food was top notch, appetizers and entrees were exquisite. On the service side, servers were extremely attentive yet not overbearing. I've been to plenty of pricier restaurants, and the servers can be condescending when observing a younger individual taking his/her seat. Pleased to say this was not the case at this fine steakhouse. I was genuinely expecting a somewhat snobbish demeanor, thrilled to say all staff members were both helpful and kind, and I experienced nothing of the sort. Restaurant music and ambiance fit the theme, no complaints there either. Overall, phenomenal experience, will definitely re-visit in the future."

  • "This certainly is a fine dining restaurant with delicious meat options... The side orders are extremely over priced however it is fine dining. If you are vegan, or vegetarian I certainly would not recommend going to this restaurant as they do not have many options or accommodations. I had to attend for a birthday and I'm Vegan so I had ordered a 3sides (mushrooms, broccoli, and fries) and it cost $30 and there was nothing special about them."

  • "Had my family join me for dinner to celebrate my 73 birthday. Our group of eight enjoyed our dinner, especially my nieces six year old. He loved the steak and potatoes. "The best he has ever had" The chocolate cake was the best too. The adults all enjoyed their meal and the staff's attention. Great celebration."

  • "The prefixed menu is always an excellent choice. The portions size is perfect and there is an excellent variety to choose from. The steak was cooked perfectly as well as the sea bass and scallops. The service was excellent and allowed our party of six to enjoy our own pace. Both the house white and red wine were very good and pared well with the food. The Chef's Features is good value for the money."

  • "We were placed in a side room which had the looks of a bad wedding hall. Not what you expect from a restaurant that charges the rated they do. The Caesar salad wasn't very good, the $110 porter house steak would have been okay wouldn't it have been for the amount of butter on the steak and sizzling butter. The seared tuna was very good and the service was not bad either. I would never go back....way over priced."

  • "We had a wonderful time, thanks to attentive, friendly service, wonderful food and an intimate atmosphere. The steak was buttery and tender, the sides were delicious, and the wine was the perfect accompaniment. We gave the bread pudding mixed reviews, but the chocolate bark made up for it. Our party of four was treated like royalty, and although we were at the restaurant far longer than we realized, at no time did we feel rushed or pressured to leave. In fact, we were invited to linger as long as we liked. We will definitely be back, and we are sure our friends will too."

  • "The atmosphere was comfortable but had a somewhat "old stodgy" feel to it. Our server was okay but didn't leave us feeling warm and welcome. We ordered from the classic dinner menu which included appetizers, main and desserts. We both felt that our dinners didn't taste fresh and exciting. My steak was acceptable but the shrimp were over done. My partner had scallops that she felt were among the worst she had tasted. Desserts were acceptable but didn't leave us wanting more."

  • "Everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed their steak. I had ordered it medium but wish I had ordered is medium rare in hindsight. The whole dining experience was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and found us a wine that suited the taste for the whole table which can be tricky at times. The layonaise potates weren't that good. I would have chosen the garlic mash or steak frites instead."

I got a well cooked steak that Sat alone on a plate and side dishes that offered little to the experience. The steak was nice But by no means special. My wife's dish was over cooked and disappointing."

  • "730pm Saturday dinner 2 couples (the 2 hubbies celebrating their 50th) online with Open Table. I requested a table not in the centre of the room and mentioned we were celebrating 2 50th bdays. The table was sprinkled with "Happy Birthday" stickers and was over to the side of the room, as requested. The waitress was very friendly-i forget her name but she usually works in the bar-she was well-versed on both the food and wine menu.The main courses and side dishes were excellent - steaks cooked to perfection! The guys were each served a delicious cheesecake with a candle and 'Happy Birthday" written on the plate. The extra touches were very thoughtful and much appreciated. A great evening! Thanks! Maybe the guys will take us when we hit 50!"

  • "Went here for my 23rd bday. Itw as my first time but as soon as I walked through the door till the time I, and my group left it was an amazing experience. The food was Excellent, my waiter; 'Andrew' was very handsome, funny, and efficient. I received a free creme brulee for my birthday with happy 23rd bday written in chocolate on the plate. I have nothing negative at all to say. Yes it's expensive but if you have the money to spend this is a great place to dine. I had dinner here on a monday..for a monday night I must say it still had good traffic coming through..alot of 'business types' lol. I most definately will be back. Thanks Ruth's Chris!!!"

  • "Our server made all the difference, rmbring that we mentioned it was our 5 year anniversary do he brought out a slice of cake for us. He even personalized it putting "happy 5 year anniversary!" Ask for Andrew as a waiter and you will be pampered and he will go above and beyond to make your dinner memorable."

  • "Disappointed that I had to wait 50 mins despite a reservation. Filet mignon was made to perfection. Rib eye not as good. Even the table next to us had the same complaint about the ribeye. Portion sizes are good. Calamari was ok but wouldn't order again. Main complaint was wait time. We were on a scheduling restraint and felt rushed to eat once we finally got seated."

  • "Celebrated our 16th Anniversary and my wife's 21sr Birthday!! Weather was horrible - warmth upon opening the door more set the mood. We waited 10 minutes for our booth at the cozy bar and caught a bit of Hockey! Appetizers Ahi Tuna & Bacon Wrapped Scallops were outstanding. I had the Prime Rib wife had a Filet Mignon we shared a HUGE baked potatoe fully loaded of course and some brussle sprouts that even my kids would love! Creame Brûlée with two spoons topped it off. A bit pricey yes, well worth a monthly visit - ABSOLUTLY!"

  • "We ordered the rib eye which were fantastic, the side of wild mushroom medley and the side of roasted brussel sprouts were also very tasty... although there was a pool of butter/grease at the bottom of the brussel sprouts which made it kind of gross... Service unfortunately wasn't the best... The waiter who waited our table was also waiting a table of 10. We ended up waiting longer than we should to order our food while our waiter was serving the larger table. When we were about to pay the bill our waiter was taking desert orders from the table of 10. Unfortunately that table was very indecisive on their desert choices, our waiter was basically waiting for them to make up their mind, while we were waiting to have our bills paid."

There were plenty of items to choose from, we had 6oz filet and shrimp...it was melt in your mouth delicious! All of our food was delicious. We will definatly return!"

  • "We were sent to the bar while waiting for our reservation, we waited 15 minutes and no bartender asked us for our drink order. After we were seated at our table we were served by a great waiter. We ordered a Mohito and a Caeser which were delicious but at $16 a piece were exorbitantly priced. The food was OK but nothing special. We had very good wine but once again at approximately $40 for two 8 Oz glasses it was way overpriced for the quality. Total bill $250.00, definitely not worth the money."

  • "ambience & food portions do not justify the lofty price. the worst ceaser salad dressing tasted like it was directly out of a bottle. the steak was excellent , had the fixed menu just make it affordable 4 guests one bottle of wine one beer and a glass of wine $314.00 before tip if you want a T bone its 65$ thanks but I will go to my local steak house from now on."
