"I've been to the Ruth's Chris in Walnut Creek CA and it's just as good in Maui. If you're looking for a good steak, this is the place to go. Good food and a friendly staff. A little pricey, but worth the money."

"I ordered the Ribeye cooked medium. My steak was very tough and not alot of flavor. I would not recommend Ruth's Chris based on my steak experience. I was a meatcutter for 15 years and this was not a good cut of meat.

Although my wife had a Petite Fillet cooked medium well and it was great flavor and very tender. Based on her steak I would come back, but ribeye is my steak of choice. The fear of having this experience again will shy me away.

Evening sun in my eyes kinda spoiled the Ambiance. Very difficult to take!

"i always love ruths chris i am a waitress my self in the town of lahaina & brought my regular customers who dine w/ me when they visit maui they had never been to ruths chris but im sure they will return, we had a great dinner & service from our friend & waiter Andy."

"Because this is a special occasion place, and it's on Maui, the entree prices are higher than some other restaurants. However, the portions are generous - many entrees are large enough to share, or to take home a great leftover (hint: toss extra filet mignon into the freezer & use it to make beef stroganoff). My wife and I shared an 11 ounce filet with some starters and a side of sauteed mushrooms and had plenty to eat. No room for dessert, alas!"

"Never a poor experience at Ruth Chris. It's amazing we go to the Lahania RC once a year and they always seem to remember us with a big smile and premo seating. RC Lahania is an excellent capper/highlight to the end of a Maui vacation."

"Ruth's Chris has become our traditional "last night" dinner to cap off our yearly trips to Hawaii. While we try to explore and even sometimes get adventurous during the week, we always count on Ruth's Chris to bring us home. The steaks are top shelf. The wines are what we'd expect."
